Canon pixma vs HP envy

I originally wanted the canon pixma TR4551 but it's out of stock absolutely everywhere (im from the UK). im looking for a printer that will do good colour prints (not photo prints, but mostly just block colour illustrations, illustrations with less detail etc). currently have the hp envy 5000 series and it's not the best of quality, its very streaky despite cleaning the heads and everything. black colour doesnt really dry and transfers onto my fingers even after weeks after printing.

here are the other models i have been looking at:

CANON PIXMA G3520 MegaTank - my worry with this is that the colours might print out faded (will mostly print on card, glossy and matte sticker paper) as i had the epson tank before and had to return because the colours were extremely faded (black came out as grey)

CANON PIXMA TS8351 - has good reviews on the quality of the print however the ink is so expensive, how would one pack last in the long run if i'm using it often?

Affordable printer recs?

I had 9 years old Canon mg5300 - very good printer and scanner. The new G600 is in everything a downgrade from mg5300. Printing quality is much worse, colors are light; scanner resolution is worse; there is no automated paper turning in 2-side printing; display and controls are like from 1980's. For this price of printer I'm very disappointed

Big disappointment

 This G650 has user-replaceable ink absorbers, so it should not be a problem.  Filling the inks was really easy, and Canon has made sure that you cannot fill container with wrong color ink, because the bottles only fit their own ink tanks, thanks to the clever bottle cap design. After 15 min, the printer was ready to go.  The Android printer software by Canon leaves a bit to be desired, but printing works just fine even if the software is a bit clumsy

  I originally had Canon G3501 which is previous generation mega-tank printer. It worked just fine, until one day it started missing some colors, and cleaning the printer was impossible due to fixed ink absorbers which were impossible to replace. This G650 has user-replaceable ink absorbers, so it should not be a problem.
