Printer Recommendations

I had a rough few go arounds with this printer before finally getting a satisfactory unit so we'll start off with the problems. First copy of the Pixma Pro 100 I received had an issue that would not allow the print carriage to leave the parking zone out of the box. I was able to tweak the piece of the carriage that was catching towards the output side so as to allow it to travel the width of the printer but the print head could not be satisfactorily be aligned to prevent banding in print. So I created the first RMA

 It is an amazing compliment to my camera and my home printing needs. The print resolution, gamut, consistency has shown me that a whole helluva lot of ground has been covered in the 10 years since I last bought a new color inkjet. The Pixma Pro- 100 is truly a wonder in terms of its output quality. The initial quality of the units gives me some pause when it comes to recommending it but if you buy from Amazon directly, should you have my run of luck, you will be taken care of in Amazon fashion until satisfied

Best printer for making stickers? Both glossy and matte.

 I have since given up on wireless and attached a USB cable. Solves the problem, but unfortunate that it won't serve the purpose for which it was designed.  And the paper-handling is horrendous! I print almost entirely on regular thickness 12" x 18" paper - very rarely on something as thick as photo paper. I can't find any paper thickness adjustment on the printer, and I've set the paper type setting in the printer properties accordingly

Good Printer, But Don't Depend on the Wireless

I am a small time artist, looking to make about 25 prints at a time. I am currently looking at the Epson XP7100.... do you guys have any suggestions?

Printer for Prints

  Other have mentioned this but it has 2 areas to feed paper. The one on top is called the "REAR" the one in the back is called "MANUAL". It sure was fun figuring that out when I first got it. Oh and you have to use the printer software that it came with and Canon paper if you hope to get the correct colors

 Because out of every 10 prints you will maybe get 3 good ones. Here are the issues with quality:  1. Sometimes the printer just prints maybe half of the image on 8.5x11 paper or 13x19 paper

 No more printing straight from photoshop like i did with a much cheaper model from Canon from 15 years ago.  Bottom line, this printer is not worth it. And we only paid $287 for it a year or so ago. Now it's only available on Amazon through "Sellers" and it's starting at $600 bucks! Tell me how that makes any sense? Okay good luck, hope this review helped!

 So, there's wasted ink and wasted paper and time.  2. A lot of times it will print saturated amounts of ink at 1 or 2 of the edges of the paper. Varying in thickness from 1/2 inch up to 5 inches! The ink is sometimes greenish, sometimes reddish, and most of the time a dark brown, purple-y saturated mess and who knows how much ink you've just wasted on that paper

Hi... I noticed most speciality papers (including Silhouette branded ones) and shrinky dinks only work on inkjet printers only. I have an HP LaserJet. Due to the current situation, there seem to have been shortages of Canon printers, esp the TS9521C, which was my first choice.

Anyone have any other awesome Inkjet Printer suggestions that are currently in stock that work well with Silhouette Studio, Cricut Design Space, a Mac, and can print wirelessly.

Inkjet Printer Suggestions?

  I will update this review after I receive the print head but so far have a printer that is unusable.  UPDATE:  Received the replacement print head today. Installed as instructed. Now the printer does not print at all! Submitted new support request to Canon and am waiting for response

 Found that the group 1 cartridges were not printing. 2 days of following Canon guidelines led to them telling me they'd send a new print head. One week later (told it would be there in 3-5 days) re-contacted Canon and told the print heads were on back order with no estimate of availability. Wasted quite a bit of ink from the very expensive ...

Hey all, fairly new to the Cricut world. Have realized I need an inkjet printer for heat transfers and stickers. I'd love any recommendations for a good printer - ideally one that also does a nice job for photos as well. Bonus points if you are in Canada and can recommend something that I can get locally (often the web recommends printers from the US that we can't seem to get here!) TIA
