 But flex, look at this thing man. This is stiff for a twin. It is I would say medium stiff, bordering on stiff. It doesn't feel super light and playful

 And the base, I just want to talk about this new powder drive base. I was really impressed. I used to get on spring break boards then compare them to other boards and sometimes I felt like the bases just weren't keeping up with some of the really high-end super fast bases out there. Like when I would compare them sometimes to like Jones powder boards and such, I was like whoa that's a faster base

 Now the way this turned in powder I was surprised because I really thought it would be pretty slow but it's very doable very manageable for my size 9 boots. I could turn this pretty quick I would trust this in medium trees not a real tight narrow tree line where you have to really weave in and out but I would trust it and kind of that medium width trees and medium width kind of line through trees I think that would do well. But powder okay in a time of all these directional boards that are sent to me to review I can't tell you how much fun it was to go out on a true twin that could float like this. To go out centered and duck and just be able to try to ride switch and powder it's been a long time since I've done that and to just be able to play around and spin and just have fun and just take a different approach to powder riding from all these surfy directional rides I couldn't believe it and this just floats incredibly well

 It is I would say medium stiff, bordering on stiff. It doesn't feel super light and playful. This feels kind of semi-aggressive but I like it. It's got lots of pop and I was surprised at how easy it buttered for the flex

 It's the widest true twin board that I could find, with a waist width clocking in at 273mm. For context, the bigger 162 was out of stock.

 This is when the board is cambered between the feet, flat underneath and then rockers up early. That rocker is going to give you some great float in the powder with the aid of the really wide nose and tail. You're not going to be sinking anytime soon but also that cambered section means you're going to have the ultimate hold when you're getting low into the Euro cards or stability when you're riding at speed. Hello 

I would appreciate some advice on what to get for my level. Im going onto third season in Japan, riding down intermediate slopes comfortably but advanced slopes not so comfortablely. 

Looking for a board that floats in powder but can be in the park alright too. My perfect day on the mountain is floating on untouched powder on the intermediate slopes for most of the day and playing on boxes and mini ramps in the afternoon. I also want to get a front roll down this season. 

Im a student and use public transport so looking for the single best board for this. Not too concerned about its performance on hard snow in the mountain as I usually avoid these conditions (one broken wrist and its fresh snow for me here on out). 

Would really appreciate any advice on board types since Im still very confused. Im 173 cm boot size 25 cm and 54kg female.

<p>Edit: Thanks for taking the time to comment. I found a really nice deal on older model Ride Warpig 142. Heard its a bit hard to handle if leg strength is lacking, I have 1 month until I first get to slope so many squats until. The other models look super nice as well but were much more expensive here, I&#39;ll check them out more if the Warpig isnt a good fit.</p>

Been snowboarding for 14 years (guessing 80 days total) and owned a couple boards. Am looking for an all mountain board. I love glades and jumping (park and natural) but also want something that isn't going to be terrible in either icy conditions or powder (live in the NE, take trips out west every year). Don't care much about jibbing.

I weigh 160 lbs and wear US 13 boots (down from size 14 street shoe). From [this site](https://snowboardingprofiles.com/how-important-is-snowboard-width-sizing-and-how-do-i-get-it-right) I'm looking for boards that are 267+ mm at the waist (and that's using the lower end). Most boards I've checked out aren't especially wide for the recommended lengths.

Waist widths:
* Yes Standard (263 mm for 159, 268 mm for 162)
* Jones Mountain Twin (261 mm for 159W, 263 mm for 162W)
* GNU Rider's Choice (268 mm for 158W)

Currently riding a 156W.
