 However, it doesn't offer the 100% sound quality experience. It has a very beautiful bass, but I feel like that I cannot hear the whole harmonics spectrum of higher notes. Probably, the reason why I have this bad vibe for it is because I have heard a lot of moderate pianists to play on it in youtube.

 I know there has been some positive buzz surrounding this offering from Casio, but the PX-S1000 just felt astonishingly cheap to me. For example, I was amazed by how much "bend" is in that plastic panel that runs across the front, just below the keys; you would expect that level of quality in a child's piano from a big box retailer, not in a keyboard that retails for several hundred dollars. Additionally, the action felt noticeably cheesier and less realistic than, say, a Roland FP-30 or Yamaha P-125, which are not significantly more expensive than the Casio.  If you are serious about music and playing the piano, my recommendation would be to save up a bit more and spend it on a quality product from one of the trusted names in musical instrument manufacturing

Nice Sounds and Interesting Design - Cheesy Build Quality and Action

 It is only 23 centimeters deep. Can you imagine that That is really really short? In fact, it is so sure that half of my X10 is actually just sticking out from behind here. You can't see it, but really just takes up half the extent. And in addition to the super slim profile, we also have this very sophisticated and elegant looking glossy piano black color

 So I really love the bag because the bag is customized for the compact fit of this piano because what good is it that you have a slim and compact piano, but you have a loose-fitting 88-key generic bag with your piano just moving around inside a bag and there's a chance of damage? So they sell a very compact exactly measured to the size of this piano. and in addition they have made two specialized pockets that is just measured and size especially for the music stand on one side and we have the tree pedal unit on the other side. for musicians like me who play a of jazz music. that free pedal option is a very valuable addition and it possible I would always want to carry that along with me because it supports half pedaling

 You can't see it, but really just takes up half the extent. And in addition to the super slim profile, we also have this very sophisticated and elegant looking glossy piano black color. and this is significantly more professional-looking compared to the old-school Previa where there was a lot of fake wood laminates and it's just really cheesy looking. very plasticky looking

 In fact, this material, If you were to stand back a bit and look at it, it feels like it's a full aluminum kind of construction. and this piano black just ups the upscale factor significantly. And even when the piano is off because there are only two physical items on the fascia of the piano, which is the power button and the volume knob, even when it's turned off, it has a very, very clean look. We have no additional buttons on the surface

Was hoping someone could suggest a good model that's not too expensive but not too cheap. Basically a balance that fits these two categories 
1) Enough quality that I wouldn't feel I needed to replace it if I really fell in love with this hobby
2) I wouldn't feel like I wasted money if this was just a spontaneous fad

  But as for the piano itself - it has great action, it's attractive, it has a nice feel, good sound. And it's reasonably priced. Casio is a good make overall.

 It is far too easy to accidentally touch them when putting up a book, making it start playing something prerecorded, or the metronome going on - or more.  The second issue I have is the instruction manual to use the functions - it's not easy to follow at all.  But as for the piano itself - it has great action, it's attractive, it has a nice feel, good sound. And it's reasonably priced

It's a good instrument but there are two major issues I have with it

 Even though this isn't extremely slim, keyboard casio has managed to not actually sacrifice too much on the action. While it does have a few drawbacks, it is actually very, very respectable for a keyboard of this price. Let me play a little bit of classical music here. [Music] Very difficult for me to hear at the NAMM show, but hopefully you guys could still enjoy the performance there of Claire de Lune just a little tiny sample

The $650 Casio PX-S1000 REVIEW - NAMM 2020

  It looks and feels brand new.  It is definitely worth the wait to get a better instrument.  It's a good time to looks since a lot of people who started learning piano at the beginning of the pandemic are starting to lose interest.

I don't have a lot of money or spare cash to drop $500 or whatever so please don't tell me 'just save up for a more expensive keyboard' okay. I work and spend most of my pay on bills but desperately am yearning to play piano no matter what. So please recommend me a keyboard.

I don't really care about the minuscule complaints about cheap keyboards having bad weighted keys or sticky keys or not good polyphony or whatever, I just need a SEMI decent recommendation. I am learning music theory and want to learn how to play Chopin Nocturne in C minor (and other pieces like that), that's my dream. I just want to start using whatever I can get so please comment if you can recommend a model in this range.

Can someone reccomend a good keyboard for under $200 please? What brands or models do you reccomend?

Keys feel pretty good for such a small size, but the sound was lacking

 Give me one swing in there and I'll be a happy guy, you know? I don't want to be practicing with only a metronome? That goes thing top and it just drives me nuts, right? Just a rhythm is so much better when you're practicing and you're able to feel the groove of whichever genre of music that you are playing with. The tenth and last thing: I felt that Casio could have done a bit better has not to do with the piano itself and that has got you. If what comes in the package in the box itself, Let's be frank, let's be honest: I'm gonna give you two seconds raise your hand up if you have a USB type B cable. the USB type B is got a printer head kind of USB end to it and going to USB C or a micro USB n This kind of cable are so rare and so difficult to hunt down
