 We've divided the switches into three main categories: tactile, linear, and clicky switches. so each participant will actually do three rounds of testing. That's right, and within each round, you only ever have two keyboards in front of you at any given time. You just tell me if you prefer keyboard A or keyboard B and then I take away losing board and give you a new one

 Some of you may remember that we did do a blind key switch test in a previous video, but today's test is way better. and basically every way we're testing way more key switches all on the same board with the same key caps and with a way bigger sample size bar. You finally gave in to peer pressure from your geeky friends and you're getting a mechanical keyboard. But what key switches should you get now? I'm on the record saying that Cherry MX switches are the gold standard, but there are tons of keyboard enthusiasts who strongly disagree with that statement. So today we are conducting a blind test. He's no nowhere near me as a with no less than twenty two of the most popular key switches to see which ones people, including me, like clacking on

 Now We could have simply arranged all 22 keyboards around the room and let people wander around free range, but we figured they would get too tired and unfocused to rigorously test each board. So here's what we're gonna do instead. We've divided the switches into three main categories: tactile, linear, and clicky switches. so each participant will actually do three rounds of testing

 So in the end we asked the community and we tried to source most of the popular ones that they asked for. Zealios v2 78g. I like tactiles and these guys are tough. I tend to rest my hands on the keys a bit heavier than most and lighter switches lead to typos.   


Also they were my first switches. I've had many since but I always go back to my Zeals. :)

Simple answer : Zealios V2 67G! I love the tactility and their sound, especially for typing.

67g Zilent V2, for me it's has just the right amount of bump at the right point in the key press and a slightly soft but bouncy bottom out

Gateron Black Inks.

I am a simple man, loved bumpy switches like Cherry MX Clears and T1 pandas, then the inks converted me. Can't go back to a tactile now, I love a linear.

Black INK v2. For me they fit very well and love the feeling and sound of it. As i don't own alot of keebs, yet, i dont have the greatest experience of different switches. But planing to evolve on that front.

Gateron Yellow KS-9 Pro -- they're cheap, smooth with the factory pre-lube, and don't need film since the stem wobble is minimal anyway. I love being able to use them in stock form while beating out other linears in terms of smoothness.

I know it's not gonna be popular, but I love what I know and that's cherry MX reds. With some lube they're absolutely amazing, maybe I just don't know what other switches feel like but I like enjoying everyone else's descriptions nonetheless.
