CHICCO LITEWAY stroller review!

Chicco stroller. This beast is over 10 years old and been through 4 kids, traveled around the world to 5 countries, uncountable mall and theme parks, tossed in the back of trunks like a hostage, and treated like a jungle gym more times than...well a jungle gym.

 One really good feature is this little wind guard here that covers his feet this is I mean we use this all the time the only thing is he'll they kind of quickly will grow out of it and their feet will be too big for this wouldn't you say? Yeah. But I guess at that point they'll just have pants and boots and be fine anyways but this is really nice it's a really nice feature keep them nice and cozy and then the way how it tucks away is real nice as well. So one really nice feature is this little cup holder do you have your phone on you? And it just like it perfectly fits your cell phone well I can't speak for the plus models but your typical phone here it fits and it really sits snug in there no matter like if you're doing some bumpy terrain or making some sharp turns you're really picking up speed it stays in there pretty well as I'll demonstrate here. It's rocking all around it holds it pretty well hitting those bumps hit a big bump for us

 Can you find one real quick? I think it surprisingly has a really smooth ride especially considering there's no there's no sorts of like springs or you know any sort of apparatus to kind of absorb any sort of shock as you're going down the bumpy asphalt you know so it rides it rides really smooth and your Bermini top goes pretty well I wish it wasn't zipped to the back I don't know do you like that I guess I'd like I'd just like to be able to like when the sun's in his face to be able to kind of put that a little further down without the zipper I guess I've unzipped it and done that before and just put this part on top so you got this five strap harness pretty standard for baby products like similar to these the way they achieve the five strap harness is kind of the what five point I guess it's a five point harness it's kind of interesting there's like the little top clip like separates there I guess they do this so if you're when your child outgrows the top straps you can just pop those over I'm not because like a car seat doesn't do that you just slip their arm through there but anyways I mean it works well the only thing is these little pieces like can be a pain especially when you're sitting there trying to combat your squirming baby so sometimes I can get in the way but yeah I can demonstrate that right here what you think bud of course all the fabric on this thing even your little strap down here and this this little compartment it might look kind of small but I mean we can fit his old diaper bag in there Pierce could fit in there if you wanted to and the whole thing is removable just like little snap buttons I'm going to demonstrate some recline capabilities what there's a few settings yeah there's a few settings just like a drawstring that pops into place when they're really young we use the really recline position when he was really young but now he is fully sitting up there's about yeah there's four it's a pretty good job to have that much kind that much like recline capabilities while you're still able to take off the whole cloth part yeah that's pretty good and still like it's still like super sturdy quality especially for the value that you're paying here but we got the unit flipped upside down here just to kind of demonstrate the locking functionality these locks are independent which I know a lot of scrollers they kind of work simultaneously together so it catches it also these wheels are different so you just got this little plastic bar I don't know it like it looks kind of cheap but you know it actually works really well there you see you see they're rolling and it stops that's pretty good they're independent locks kind of feel like I'm gonna break it but it holds up really good give it a little wiggle it's pretty sturdy very sturdy these front wheels do you have these little these little locks as you can see there's just a little pin right there that'll lock these wheels facing forward and you can see they'll lock them facing forward I'm not sure why you would want to do that I would think if you were like on an incline or something it would make it better oh yeah maybe so I don't know I guess it just gives you that extra sense of security if you really want to lock it in place but I mean I never use that I just if you lock the back wheels I mean it's not going anywhere yeah I don't know maybe if you know like specifically why you need to have that functionality you can leave a comment below this is pretty nice it's nice to have that like nice sturdy what foot what do you call that foot what foot rest yeah a nice sturdy foot rest where you can when you fold it up it's like it still folds up real good I will demonstrate some of the the folding capabilities so it has this these little foot pedals down here they kind of work in conjunction with one another to fold up like so this is probably my biggest complaint about this unit is that in order to fold it up you got to pop the bimini top off you can pop it off I usually just leave it hanging on by a zipper you think they could you know fit some sort of joint here or what have you so that I could you know stay together it just folds up like so got a little little handle right yonder this little clip keeps her in gear back up you got to pull your cleat out and you're ready to roll so Anna would you recommend this stroller to others I would great hope you guys enjoyed this comprehensive consumer review if you like what you saw please comment below and let us know if you hated it let us know as well I apologize for the terrible camera quality and audio quality please hit that like button it'll get us one step closer to upgrading our equipment and until next time goodbye.

But a major flaw popped up about six months in. The front wheels stick, and  won’t fully rotate back into position. This causes the stroller to jam and you either have to shake it vigorously or reach around and down to manually turn the wheels.  You probably couldn't carry this at the same time as carrying a baby, but in terms of putting it in and out of your car boot or moving it from room to room, it's definitely light enough to do that. And it also comes with this foot muff included, which again makes it really excellent value. It's durable, kind of decent quality, really soft, fleece lined, definitely going to be warm. So overall, the Chico Lightweight was a big hit with all of our testers

 Unfolding it's really easy. You just release this catch here on the side and then just pull up the handlebars and the whole thing pops into life. Then at the back you just press down here, probably best with a foot, to unfold it. It's pretty manoeuvrable

 It's not particularly compact when folded and it's obviously also not freestanding. That's what I meant about making sure the lock mechanism is in place. There we go, that's better. But it is light enough to lift into the car
