The first reason is gon na be because of this this blade length three and a half inches is perfect for me, because I eat a lot of like English, muffins and bagels. So you know you got to cut those things in in half this blade spans across you know whatever it is cutting and it just I'm able to get through it a lot faster instead of like with the with the small you know, and then I got ta Like turn, it cut turn it. I know it's stupid and we're only talking about seconds, but hey every little bit counts right, hey reason, number two: the handle, yes, four point six inches long and it just really fills my medium-sized hand

 At least the closing action is way better on the large. Then it is with this small one. Let me show you you don't I mean it makes sense, because this is going to be a heavier blade. CJRB Feldspar Review - Move Over Civivi

Looking for a great pocket knife for around 50$ any suggestions was looking at a CJRB

Solid EDC knife for those with smaller hands

 I think ergonomically it's a little bit nicer. I would probably choose this one over the feldspar at the moment, although I can acknowledge the feldspar to be maybe a little bit more attractive in the handle if they married these two, the contoured handle on the fell out in the central body, oh yeah, that could Be attractive, but the fact is that the feldspar here is excellent. This big one here is an absolutely great knife and if you love in the style - and if you love in the overall approach to things, then I think you could find that the feldspar rocks hey cuz, it's a mineral, okay, anyways there you go hope you were In threat out, you found this interesting that you didn't enjoy her, that you enjoyed my sparring with these two knives during the review process and that you have yourselves an absolutely wonderful rest of your day that you fell. This review was good

 These guys were sent to me directly by artisan cutlery, who is the parent company of CJ RB um. In fact they were sending along another knife. The mod is insan' thorry here um and i was interested and they said, hey Nick. You want to check out the feldspars, well we're innocent sure why not right um, but nonetheless, I said in my disclaimer: they they've heard everything I hadn't talked about the good, the great the bad, the ugly might be a gem might be junk

 And finally, there are two sizes here: the three inch and three and a half but um I'm gon na treat them if effectively is equivalent there in the review hip and then TN talked about the advantages and disadvantages both. So, let's go on ahead and jump into the good, the great in the bad and the ugly of the CJ RB, not artisan kind of artisan feldspars here so on the good side. To start with honestly, I kind of appreciate a good thumb, stud knife, I'm at this point in time the the world is so saturated with flippin knives, especially and in that $ 40 price point out of China, you're a relative flippers these days, and so at some Level, seeing a really nice bearing action with a thumb, stud, that's kind of nice, it's kind of refreshing, it's a little different um. It'S funny that we're in a place now with thumb, studs, feel refreshing and different, but it's kind of where we're at so

 Maybe it's ergonomic baby, your hands gon na be better than mine, but it sure isn't way interesting to me, but this this is a gem. It'S a good cutting tool that has a fine design, a very nice action and they're coming in at a price. That'S hard to object to and sure they were getting to be a lot of good choices around 35 bucks. This is one of many options I mean there are lots and lots of knives come they're from small brands from China even from CJ Abdi there's the sense ropes here, which is another, really great choice

Don’t buy gun company knives. They crank out dirt cheap r/chinesium , slap their logo on it and sell it for 5x what it’s worth. For around $25 get an Ontario rat 2 in Aus-8, or in D-2 steel for the extra $10. Could also check out the CJRB feldspar/mini Felspar

I’ve been wanting a flip out knife for general purpose, and am finding a lot of $60 knives, and a lot of $15 knives. I’m wondering what the difference really is. I saw that Smith and Wesson sells knives for around $25. I know S&amp;W is a good company. Are these knives good quality?

What’s the difference between a $15 and a $60 pocket knife?

 I am returning "it" (all six). I don't care how good the knife looks and otherwise feels: the point of a liner lock is easy one-hand opening and closing. If I don't like opening the knife, I'm not going to like using it, and I don't need another knife in the drawer to "admire."  For comparison I tried 1) my old Buck Odyssey with cutout oval instead of stud: weak detent, less smooth bronze bushing, PERFECT! Easy and controllable open

  Large Feldspar: Amazon shipped me a box of 6 instead of a single blade so I can attest to the quality control: all six look and feel identically perfect, except for the detent. The detent which keeps it closed is too strong. Since the pivot bearings are so smooth, once you push hard enough to overcome the detent, the blade pops partway open so quickly that it gets away from your thumb. You can then find your thumb brushing the sharp edge when you "find" the blade to finish opening it

Small Feldspar in Ghost Jade Green: could barely push the blade open with the thumbstud. Returned.  Large Feldspar: Amazon shipped me a box of 6 instead of a single blade so I can attest to the quality control: all six look and feel identically perfect, except for the detent. The detent which keeps it closed is too strong

The detent is 300% stronger than it needs to be on the small, and 200% on the large.

 This is a wonderful, wonderful, well-made tool, right? Oh my goodness. Possibly one of the best budget folding knives that exists and possibly I need to do some thinking and I need to take a look at everything that I, you know, that I've reviewed and make sure that I have my thoughts all collected. This possibly, this might just be the greatest budget knife. I mean, bang for your buck here

 Here for whatever reason, lately I've come to very much enjoyed Jade G10. Now I ordered the scales on the PM2 because I, because I like the Jade G10, right? And I'm noticing now that the Jade on the CJRB is much more vibrant. Some people love this color and some people hate it. There's not many people in between, right? It's pretty polarizing

 It's so, it's so hard, you know, I have to think about what the Civivi Praxis brings to the table that this doesn't and dollar for dollar, whether or not I actually think that that's worth it. But yeah, I'm serious guys. This is a knife worth picking up and at 37 bucks, it's not going to set you back, right? It's also a fantastic knife to give somebody as a gift. Somebody you're trying to get into the better part of the knife fold, right? If they've been carrying around M-Tex and other garbage, right? And you want to get them a better knife

 I like it playlist and it's also going to go, I think for this is, this has happened very few times in this channel. I'm also putting this on my favorite knives of all time playlist. It's all three of those things, guys. This is, this is that good

Opinions in choosing between Civivi or CJRB?

 Blade thickness, apprx 3mm - 1/8th inch.  Cons: Ergonomics 1. Thick / long 2. Heavy 3

 Value for the money?!? I may be picky... but my Leek cost about 5 bucks more and has better appointments including spring assist, it's blade is approx half inch shorter, better designed, sleeker and almost as heavy

 NO blade lock while closed 5. Tip "up" carry 6. Sturdiness?!? Loose / flimsy blade feel when disengaging / closing. 7

CJRB Feldspar pocket folder

 For those of you don't know it's essentially a pardo metal particle. Oh boy, particle metallurgy version of 9cr18, which is knight cr18, is a good steal. It is very similar to the chromova steel used by global knife. That'S relatively good! This you know song got a full nested liners good, solid, deep, carry clip

 The weight is good, blah blah blah blah blah. If you don't already know the feldspar get yourself one, this is one of the better general purpose knives you can get. They have them in d2 and and other stuff. This one in the button lock is an ar rpm9
