 - Rough texture on handle + the super tight clip means it will shred whatever you clip it to - Thumb stud can be in the way when using the full blade length to slice through something. (ex. food)  Update: 2020-09-30 - I decided to re-sell this, rather than sanding down some of the textured gripping material. Now, a year or more later, I find myself missing it

 This one and the Recon 1 are more tactical; the Code 4 is less so. Could ALMOST pass as gentlemanly, in the right company. (blue collar)  Summary:  + Excellent blade shape; pointy and with belly, but not too delicate or swept-back + Excellent, hand-filling grip with high traction; you won't drop this knife because it's wet + Smooth action with at least 3 methods of one-handed opening + Great blade steel. AUS10 @ Rc 60 means it holds an edge, but is not insane to sharpen

 The Voyager isn't as thick at 4mm as the Tanto's 5mm, and I like the elegant curve of the Tanto more than the straight, uninspired design of the Voyager's blade. Also of note is that this blade is made in Taiwan, unlike my Cold Steel Tanto, which was made in Japan. Again, not really a positive or negative here, just an observation.  Overall I'm happy with my purchase

Good, with some caveats...

I received 3 cuts on my fingers within 5 minutes of getting this knife out of the box! The combination of the blade weight and spring tension from the lock causes the blade to snap into the handle quite unexpectedly. The lock is very stiff and difficult to release, it takes quite a lot of focused thumb pressure. I recommend holding the blade with one hand while releasing the lock with the other thumb and S-L-O-W-L-Y closing the blade. Keep your eyes on what you're doing and make sure your fingers are out of the way

I have had at least 2 dozen tactical-type folders at any one time for many years and have a lot of experience with opening/closing knives, flipping open/closed, etc

 Glove size 6 1/2 or so. Overall, I recommend this as a value knife built for work. Knife prices are escalating these days. This knife offers value and function

.I only found one proble that made ruin me experience and thats the grip. The grip its desing to allow to have a strong hold on the knife and makes it hard to slip. The problem is that it algo make it hard to draw from the pocket

 I love the new handle with solid grip to the rear though. Aus 10 vs 8?, they both work for me. I don’t care for the width of the new design in closed position, it’s really big. Took a while to get use to the new lock design

not as big as I thought blade size is 5.5 and on SRK is 6, but SRK seems way lot bigger and solid, maybe because it is fixed blade, difference in blade size is 0.5 inch and voyager has bigger handle but besides that SRK seems 2x-3x solid.
