 You don't necessarily have to get Coleman brand. There's a lot of different ones that have Universal adapters on the top that work just fine. The next best feature about this product is you can actually buy an adapter to run a 20 gallon propane tank. So if your RV camping or if you don't want to run out of fuel or if you have more space, you can always go with that option

 Now the main thing to remember about this product is you're definitely getting what you pay for. but what you're getting is a lot of value for the price that you're pay. In my opinion, the Coleman Classic stove is a must have. Teeny - no frills, easy to use, easy to move, great stove

 So another good feature about this is the burner and the grate is pretty close. I Have a medium-size pan on here right now and this is kind of a small pot. Coleman Advertises that it can fit a 12 inch and a 10-inch pan side-by-side In my experience, that's kind of pushing the limits of what this thing can do. You can adjust these side wind guards so you can fit a little bit bigger pots

 Another great feature is that this is pretty compact. It will snap down when not in use and it folds up. So the dimensions that they have advertised are 4.1 inches by 21 point nine inches by thirteen point seven inches

Coleman Classic Propane Stove Review Pros and Cons

The Coleman Classic Propane is the current front runner. It seems a pretty straight forward no frills stove at an affordable price.

I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to use either or both of them and if they had any insight.

 Fix is below:  "Initially, the hose did not let gas from my 20 lb propane tank reach the burners on my Coleman NXT 200 grill; while a 1 lb disposable canister worked fine. It was puzzling why the canister fit fine but the hose and big tank did not. However, after digging around for answers on the web, it turned out the remedy actually was to modify the grill fitting to better fit the hose, i.e

I fixed this by placing a 10 mm socket into the grill's female fitting and turned the pin/nut counter-clockwise, loosening the nut (that is part of the pin assembly) by about a quarter turn, thus in effect lengthening the pin just a little to make up for the shortfall in the hose end

 So most people who are wanting to do camping are wanting to go in the summer months or in the spring or in the fall When you're not dealing with freezing temperatures. In fact, I never use this stove. In the winter time. I prefer to use a white gas or a dual fuel stove because it burns much more efficiently

 So how would I rate the Coleman Classic Stove? I would give this stove a solid five out of five crows and there's a couple reasons for that. Number one: this puppy is super easy to clean. This is super super easy to wipe down and get clean. The other thing I really love about it is the two burners I love to put the percolator on first thing in the morning when I'm camping so that I can get coffee, and then I get sausage or bacon or ham or whatever

Hey all

I am interested in buying a new stove with a remote canister.

I've googled a bit and read here and I am still not sure what to get.

I need it to be safe, I dont really care for weight and I wont use it it in extreme cold (probably nothing less than 10 degrees Celsius)  


So i found three brands which are

Fire Maple (Blade 2), Kovea (moonwalker or dual flame) and Optimus (vega)

I browsed a bit on Amazon and I also found these two which are much less expensive and I am not sure if I am missing something

 Uh, it's actually very slim if you're trying to save, uh, space. I do use the portable propane tanks, the little mini ones like here. um and it doesn't have the instant start so you do have to use a match or a lighter to actually get the the burners to start up. But overall here we are cooking some rice, some tortillas
