Coros Pace 2

I recently bought a Coros Pace 2, and its a great device. The battery life is amazing and all the functions on the watch work fine - except for HR monitoring at the start of an exercise, but this is a known issue, i think - since almost all reviews confirm this. The only thing i miss is a walk/hike exercise. I know I can use GPS Cardio mode for this, but its more of a catch-all function for all kinds of outside sports.

So I just got my Coros Pace 2 a few days ago and while I love the concept behind it and love it as a running watch, the available watch faces for daily wear are almost all very garish and many are downright ugly. Over half of them can most favourably be regarded as "novelty" screens, see for example FRIDGE, RUN BOS, COPPER STATE, EARTH DAY, ENGRAVING, CODING, SHOELACE, DRAGON, ETC. Of the rest, many are extremely similar, see for example: SLASH, ABSOLUTE BLACK, ZARA, BILLBOARD, SOLAR ECLIPSE, NUMBER, SAILING, RUNWAY, HORIZON ETC. The only watch face I can actually live with is Slim1, however it doesn't show HR.

I had the chance to compare the Pace 2 to a Forerunner 245 from a friend. I have to say the strength training from Coros is a lot better and more usable. I created the same costum workout on both and compared the usability.

I really like the coros pace 2 but i do mainly trail running and so i would like to have a trail run and also a ski touring activity on my watch. Unfortunately only the higher coros models support such activities. I also like the bread crumb feature of the apex.
