 This one's got three C's. So this is a carry over also from the 5000D. That's a magnetic door that closes, hides away all of your cables and stuff. Right off the bat, you can see we've got three two and a half inch mounting drives or cages right here

 It's funny with this trend of so many manufacturers going with small form factor and you know, SFF these days, it's kind of nice to see someone be like, you know what, we're making a big case again. And not like to be confused with the 1000D because that was really just like, let's just get crazy with it. This is much more manageable. It really doesn't take up much more room on your desk than a 5000D

 So that is our quick unboxing and kind of a first look at the 7000D, the first full tower case that Corsair has made since the Obsidian series first launched back with like the 750D or the 800D and the 750D and the 900D. So it's kind of nice.  Powder coated finish. You can see it's got a nice, real nice even kind of a dusting effect to it. If you will, this is on a swivel door. So this kind of carries over from the 5000D door opens up

Very surprised to find there was no bay for an optical drive. It's a HUGE, heavy, sturdy metal case with hinges on both sides for easy access to top and bottom. I really appreciated the backplate access to the motherboard, letting me put a heat sink on the processor without having to pull the motherboard out. Calling it "roomy" is an understatement, but you'll want that kind of space for today's huge graphic cards and massive CPU coolers

No Bay for Optical Drive - Be sure this is what you want

I want to completely go Corsair for my PC, I have the H100i AIO, Vengeance Pro RGB ram, and the RM850x PSU, as well as a couple LL120 fans.

I just don’t know what case to go with. I don’t want to run into the issue of a ram clearance if I top mount the AIO, which I would prefer. Any suggestions? If there is an option outside of Corsair I’d be open to that too.

Not bad

 There's not many cases that have kind of all of these features on the market, at least for a decent price. I'm also glad that they ditched the non airflow model. Sadly, there is no D and I know you guys love the D, but it just doesn't fit anywhere. Ladies

 The beauty of any big case is that you don't have to worry about components fitting or not having enough room for cable management or having that flexibility on where and how your components come together. I mean, there's no restrictions with airflow and you kind of have everything that you'd need, including dual GPU mounts if you really wanted. There's not many cases that have kind of all of these features on the market, at least for a decent price. I'm also glad that they ditched the non airflow model

 So they're not cheap, but neither are their competitors, like the Dart Base 900 Rev 2 from Be Quiet and the Thermaltake Tower 900, which are both kind of priced around the same. There are other cheaper full towers on the market, like the Enthu 719 from Phanteks, but in all honesty, kind of looks a bit dated in comparison. So the 7000D Airflow. First up, it's huge, but not the biggest case of ever seen from Corsair

Personally, I am looking at an Lian Li Lancool 2 Performance model for my next build, however, I’ve only exclusively looked for airflow. What made you choose your case for a new build?
