Two months ago my company let me expense a keyboard, mouse, and headset on the corporate card for WFH equipment. Had to go full cult!

 Battery life i would call similar. Thats probably a tradeoff youd have to take for price and weight. They can last hours by themselves, but should probably be left plugged in most of the time. The plug is not impressive, just being a micro usb that is difficult to put in without taking the headphones off entirely, and likely dangles out of the front port of your computer

 The sound quality is better, but not outstanding. I would consider it adequate. Battery life i would call similar. Thats probably a tradeoff youd have to take for price and weight

 Not terribly so, but noticably worse than my comparatively cheaper senheisers, given they are simple wired headphones. The pleather ears and top are fine, acknowledging the dimensional issues, but not as comfortable. The sound quality is better, but not outstanding. I would consider it adequate

Uncomfortable

 Comfort is definitely not an issue here. I did try these with glasses just to check for comfort, and the padding does really well. I have a medium sized head, and the clamping force is well balanced and distributed. The padding just molds itself right around the frames perfectly

 I mean, it's kind of like a low profile setup and they still have a bunch of power in a really good battery life. And then you have to look at the blend of features that's put into it as well. And for a hundred bucks, this definitely has my recommendation. So if we did a good job, please don't forget to like the video, subscribe to the channel, share the content

 I know it's kind of like asking for a lot because there's already so much driven into this headset, but that would be the thing that really makes this killer. Just having a button right there to turn on that freaking 7.1 surround sound and then another button to scroll through the presets that you've made so you don't have to go back into the software. That would be freaking dope

 The whole combination of colors and materials used is a great blend. Last but not least is the price point. Video and microphone quality at this price range is really good. You'd be hard pressed to find a better mic and headset combo for a hundred bucks

 Maybe a little too tight for some folks with big heads. -Blocks external noise pretty well -Sound quality is decent -7.1 channels -iCue software -On headset controls -Best Feature: Build quality is pretty solid -Reasonably light and comfortable  Cons: -Microphone is awkward and doesn't mute when pushed back like the void pro. -Battery life for me is about 5

  My experience: I am a fan of Corsair products, however this headset doesn't quite hit the mark. I have two Corsair headsets (HS70 and Void Pro) because the battery life in either one doesn't last as long as I need it. I decided to use this headset for work primarily and the Void Pro for gaming mainly because of the Mic. The iCue software is good for managing the device and keeping updates flowing, and the fact that it has options for 7

5 - 6 hours, so it doesn't last my work day or extended gaming session. - Worst issue: Sound cuts out and drops off like crazy. I can't go further than 5 feet from the dongle or it drops, intermittently drops, or has static. The voice prompts get annoying when it does that too because it'll keep saying "Link Established" and other stuff

It has a few flaws

 So if I am deciding to go downstairs to grab a snack, grab a drink or use the bathroom, it doesn't swivel. So it's pretty much choking my neck when I'm walking around the house with it. So I would have to take off the headset. If I am leaving the room to grab something, the mic mute button is not a slider

 And a lot of times I'm doing something on the computer. I'm not just laying back and watching a TV show. So after using this headset for six months, I think it's a decent purchase for an entry level gaming headset. You just have to make sure it's comfortable for you and your head shape and ears

 So it's only a button. So if you do have it off, sometimes you don't know it's off unless you press the button and the voice command lets you know that you're turning the mic on or off. And another issue I have with this headset is the auto off feature, which every five minutes, if it's not detecting usage out of the headset, it will automatically power off, which is great when you're not using the headset to save battery. But sometimes I'm just laying back here, watching a movie, watching a TV show and I will not do anything else

 For gaming or talking to friends, it's perfectly fine. For recording a podcast, not so much.  Battery Life: At first, the battery life was about 10 hours per charge. That's not top of the line or anything, but I don't need any more time than that

 You can use it to check battery level and adjust microphone volume, sidetone volume, and EQ. That's about it. Again, I'm a layman, so these settings were enough for me. But they did feel a bit spare

And as far as sound performance goes we really liked what we heard and really appreciated that this headset performed with low to zero latency a virtual surround sound that's stunning and lots of low-end rumble.  The bass is louder giving it a lot of rumble so games as well as movies with lots of action and explosions sound amazing through the headset. The highs might be pushed up just a little by default but we were able to easily adjust that using IQ. The sound stage is already great in stereo with a pretty accurate separation between the left and right but with the 7.1 virtual surround sound on it's even more spectacular so much so that it feels like you're sitting in a movie theater

 In fact we didn't notice any lags or delays at all during our tests. As far as gaming headsets go we find the HS70 Pro is as close to perfection as you can get. It has the portability we look for in gaming devices and peripherals and has some amazing flexibility thanks to its customizable settings and long battery life.
