This does kind of feel like they have made a warranted effort to plow themselves back It also feels like probably the closest they've ever got to something that would be the 750 D Which many many of you including myself do actually still rate But this has got a lot of options with it like that front panel that can just be unscrewed and taken out the options with The side they do feel it does feel like they've come a long way and they've made a lot of effort One of the things I will say as well as I actually expected this case to be over 200 pounds So the fact that it comes in around 170 at the moment before all the tariffs and all that sort of stuff Come in, but that's the price. We're being told is 169 99 GBP I actually think this is actually quite a good value case Especially when you think about the price those three fans could be nice big airy case easily built in there with AIOs and some decent airflow or an AIO with decent airflow and Just airflow options as well. I personally really like it now. I know I'm waffling now So I'm I'm going to love you and leave you I've given you enough ideas for things that you can do with lights things that you can do with mods things that you can Do with layouts

 I'm going to concentrate my root review on the Glass X because that was the last one that I tested But like I said once we get on the inside everything's pretty much the same anyway So you've got the externals which have slight differences, but then the internals are pretty much exactly the same so there is a distinct possibility that the case is actually going to fall off of my Wheel today because it's actually right on the limits of where the feet can sit but anyway, so we have looked at the front end of the case the X comes with 320 millimeter fans in front the airflow actually comes with one and it's these are RGB the Airflow ones are non RGB, and there's only one in the front and one in the back the X does not come with a fan in the back, but for the sake of testing which I'll explain later I have fitted a fan in this from the airflow. Let's not say that number this year I'm going to spend probably a bit more time trying to do that stuff as and when I can Anyway, the five thousand series.  Hi everyone, it's Tony Tom Logan back with another video for you and today we're going to be taking a look at the Corsair IQ 5,000 X and the 5,000 airflow now the 5,000 X is going to come in at 169 pounds and the airflow is going to come in a hundred and thirty nine pounds There is also a slightly lower model, which is a bit cheaper called the 5,000 D But I haven't got that one. It's a decent case, I'm certainly not gonna return it, BUT I wish they would include an exhaust case fan considering the price point and the product tier this case is in. Thermals suffer without that rear case fan. I find it annoying to have to purchase the rear case fan myself. Just add it to the case and increase the price, if I'm already spending +200 dollars to buy a pc case, I don't care about paying an extra $30 or whatever, just include it, it's rude not to

Premium case, but lacking a bit of quality of life stuff for builders.

I'm usually the "black box underneath the desk" kind of PC guy, that's why it'd be great for the case to not have any outside RGB stuff.

My requirements are as follows: space for an ATX motherboard, great airflow, sound dampening, integrated fan controller, space for a Dark Rock Pro 4, at least two 2.5" mounts, at least three 3.5" mounts (ideally space for many more drives), one 5.25" mount (external or behind a cover door), easy to build in.

I want this case as a long-term solution which I'll keep for basically as long as I'll be using a tower PC.

Price doesn't really matter, but it shouldn't cross the 150€ mark. I live in Germany, but the common brands usually are available here.

<div class="md">UPDATE 2: I decided on the Define 7. It ticks all my boxes and is a great quality case overall. Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I gained some valuable insights and saw cases I never heard of before.

UPDATE: Thank you all for the suggestions, they were really helpful. From all the suggested cases and brands, I narrowed it down to three options:

I'm upgrading my case, which one should I pick?

I wanted to like this case

I am looking at the Corsair iCUE 7000X RGB Full-Tower ATX PC Case, white, which comes with 4 Corsair SP140 RGB Elite fans. 3 in, 1 out. I like them but I know that the daisy chain Lian Li fans are probably better, is it ok, or will it even look good to have mismatched case fans .If, it is good to get more fans

 I'm very happy with how my build turned out. It looks great and I am getting significantly better temperatures for my CPU and GPU than with the 570x. I would definitely recommend this case.  I did run into a couple minor frustrations that knock off one star for me:  First, the USB header on the bottom of the motherboard requires a 90-degree adapter, which Corsair includes, but only for one orientation that may not work depending which way the motherboard is keyed

I got the 5000X to replace my old Corsair 570x case, and it is essentially an upgrade in every way across the board. The case has a lot of mounting options for fans and radiators, built-in cable management, and a very clean, modern aesthetic. I'm very happy with how my build turned out. It looks great and I am getting significantly better temperatures for my CPU and GPU than with the 570x

 I eventually was able to force the cables in a position where the radiator fit, but only because I was using the premium aftermarket PSU cables that are more flexible and easier to spread out. I don't think it would have been possible with the standard PSU cables.
