Xbox game recording, for laptops most of them limit to 30fps unless plugged in so while gaming always stay plugged in. I may have forgot something but this will put you in the right direction, also for peripherals, like you did with your laptop i would buy once cry once and do your research as price point per performance is not equal in the peripheral world with garbage name brand products like razer making everything in china then marking it up 200% resulting in shitty quality (i used to be the all razer peripheral kid so ask me how i found out) Now i have the corsair virtuoso rgb xt headset (mainly got the latest and greatest because it's bluetooth as well as my laptop, the material quality is great but the sound out of the box isn't until you download corsair ICUE, as for mice I've used alot, maybe 25-40 range? I have larger hands so i loved my logitech g903 when i had it, and i want one again some day. As for keyboards and even headsets, i love hyperX.

The Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT is pretty close to what I'm looking for except for the fact that the mic is omnidirectional. Budget - $300 CAD. Although willing to stretch to $400. Source/Amp - Plugged into onboard soundcard (mostly).

Detachable mic, battery lasts 5 or 6 hours a charge, charges via USB C, the icue app let's you use an equalizer if you don't like the way they sound out of the box, and the range is pretty decent. I have a desk mic and sometimes I prefer the detachable one on the headset instead.

Audeze was also in my list but I didn't opt for it due to bad mic quality according to reviews. Personally the pleather doesn't bother me but comfort is subjective for the corsair XT since round earcups isn't everyone's cup of tea. If wireless is your priority, I'd say go for the corsair as it is more recent and offers more options in terms of connectivity. Otherwise wait for steel series refresh, but uncertain when their new lineup will show.
