The Creative Pebble 2.0 speakers provide a significant step up in both bass power and clarity when compared to the vast majority of built-in computer speakers, proving that it's possible to improve your computer's audio output on a budget. The convenient USB power source allows you to plug the speakers into a spare port on your computer or monitor instead of using a wall plug or taking up another port on your power strip. Finally, the design projects sound up at a 45˚ angle. As long as you place the speakers closer to you, this generally puts the ideal listening position right at ear level for most desk orientations. 
While the Creative Pebble 2.0 sounds quite good, it does not provide the premium listening experience some may be seeking. For example, while the bass is much more powerful than what emanates from most computers, it still lacks a bit of punch when compared to many top-tier speakers. Additionally, some clarity and separation can be lost in complex melodies played at higher registers, a problem not present in many more capable models. While the 45˚ is great for most situations, if you want to place the speakers next to a monitor towards the back of your desk or on an elevated platform, the sound may be aimed over your head. However, if you're just looking for an upgrade in your computer's sound rather than premium quality, the Creative Pebble 2.0 provides all you need in a convenient and budget-friendly package.

So annoying that they didn't do removable cables. I broke the USB-C connector on my Creative Pebble v2. Support wouldn't tell me the wiring or pinout.

Hello, do any speakers like the Creative Pebble V3 exist? Unfortunately, the left to right built in cable is top short for my setup. So disappointed they didn't make it with removable cables, for both portability and customization.

Minimalist speakers like the Creative Pebble V3

 The bass extends down well enough, but isn't controlled well, so an EQ setting that eases up on bass will be appropriate. Before receiving these in the mail, I worried about how I'd mount them, as they're shaped so that the sound aims upwards towards a user when placed on a desk, and I would be placing them above a curved section of gear cluster with the drivers aimed 45 degrees outwards from myself. As it turns out, this doesn't even matter for me, as they aren't inherently clear enough to lose much clarity from bouncing off other surfaces in a small area such as in the cabin of a car, and so I didn't bother mounting them to face me. Overall, I'd rather listen to the car's built-in speakers

  These speakers are exactly what I expect $40 speakers to sound like. Their biggest crime is that they are extremely bright (very pronounced mid-highs), so if you like rock or metal, you're going to have a bad time; when I'm in my car, I tend to consume content with lots of human speech (bright speakers are great for speech) and I otherwise often listen to synth-heavier music, so I'm overall fine with this sound profile for my use. My setup now that cable management is done!

 Fortunately this can be fixed with free software like Voicemeeter and SteelSeries sonar. After using steelseries sonar presets it sounds also sounds good for listening to podcasts and music.  In short: These are great speakers for the price but will need some tweaking if you plan on using them for anything but music. Overall, I am very happy with them after using free SteelSeries sonar software to adjust the midrange EQ

Great Speakers But...

200 mile trip to drop a PC off for my nephew

Respectable power and quality for this price of USB powered speakers with the simple volume control and the convenience that comes with USB controlled audio on the computer end. Modern USB-C cable but comes with a type A adapter with was nice since my dock didn't have any other free C ports.  The Bluetooth mode is annoying however as it's easy to accidentally hit the toggle button next to the volume dial and it used the same blue LED color for both regular operation and bluetooth. I thought the speakers or cable had failed before realizing that the flashing blue means it's in bluetooth mode

Solid speakers for the price

As a college student, this is the best 20 bucks I've spent in a long time.

 It's just not amazing. It's alright bass. I needed these because the stereo I had in the bedroom is way too loud, the bass is too strong (Not too mention I cannot adjust the bass level) and I do not want to bother my neighbors. These work just fine and I like how portable they are

I'm picky about my music quality and bass, and these are alright. Some people said there was little to no bass, and that's not true at all. It's just not amazing. It's alright bass
