Amazing jump ropes...but the price tag is not worth the ropes

It took me quite some time and internal cajoling before I could convince myself to spend $80 on a jump rope. And while the CrossRope isn't perfect, if you're looking for weighted roped (not weighted handles), it's probably the best option out there.  Construction / Durability The handles and ropes feel extremely durable and well-made. Ive been using them for about 2 weeks now and have every confidence that they will hold up

 The weight of the rope gives you more feedback. And the bearings in the handles are actually pretty crazy. Word of caution - Don't grip the handles up too high or you can occasionally whack yourself in the knuckles with the chain connector. And that hurts

 And when I focus on keeping my abs and glutes contracted, the heavier rope works those areas well also.  Prior to purchasing this set I had a cheap run-of-the-mill rope with metal connecting rings that kept hitting my knuckles and hurt like hell. I also tripped a lot. Super frustrating

 Now I find myself looking forward to the next workout! The construction seems sturdy and the ropes are simple to swap out. Totally worth the money in terms of quality, effectiveness and enjoyment.

My first "serious" jump rope

 The handles are good quality with soft leather that's easy to grip and doesn't seem to show any ware after a month of use. Now having said that and the reason I am giving the jump ropes 4 stars is because these jump ropes when you mess up or land on the rope in certain ways can really swing into your knuckles. The first few weeks of learning to jump rope with these ropes I had purple knuckles on both hands, the metal clips or the thick plastic at the end of the ropes hits them and can be really painful after a few times of messing up. Now that I am a little better at jump roping it doesn't happen as often and my knuckles are thankful for that

I have been using my Crossropes for a little over a month now and I am really liking them. The weighted rope is a great workout, and definitely has helped me get the timing on learning to run in place while jump roping and some of the other cool tricks you can do. Switching out ropes is pretty simple and fast. They both seem to be pretty sturdy although I'm only using them on the rubber flooring at the gym

I've been using this jump rope close to twice a week for the last 6 months. Prior to this rope, I've always used a thin and light cable rope. I'm a tall 5'3", which is on the edge of both recommended sizes of small and medium. The small was too short for my jumping style because of where i place my hands, which are slightly above my waist

Mannn! This rope is a B****! In a good way. So I purchased the 1/2 and 1lb ropes. They WEAR ME OUT! Not for a beginner.  Not something you’d wanna do freestyle with (keltic step or any complex foot work with) but I do love it! The added weight is next level

It’s EXPENSIVE. The app is free and most would be better off with a $20 speed or weighted rope.

 Overall one of the better quality jump ropes I ever tried/use. Infact I ordered twice. One pair for me and one for my fitness clients
