Someone one year gifted me a Cuisinart chefs classic skillet, I hate it, the side walls are thin and it came with a glass lid.

Cuisinart cookware is BIFL, this 12 quart stock pot has been well loved 12 years

Over all these are very nice pans. They do cook well and are a heavier pan which I love. 

I have a hard time with is white spots and speckles that form inside the pans whenever I use them.  I have used a scrubby, an SOS pad, and a MR. Clean eraser to clean both inside and out and by far inside is harder.

Cooking with stainless is a bit of a learning curve but anything with a coating it inherently going to wear out. Non stick = disposable.

Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless-Steel Cookware Set, 10-piece  MCP-10C-1PKC, sold at costco for under $200. Oven safe to 500 f,  aluminum core, riveted handles. It checks all the boxes of a good quality pot/pan.

I don’t remember the exact series/set of calphalon I have, but I know it was a gift a few years back. I do have some cast iron skillets, but I need something a little lighter and hoping dishwasher safe. If not dishwasher safe that’s fine really, I can drop about 300-400$ on a set or possibly stretch that depending on quality and deals.

 These do not replace all pans. The rivets on the pan can trap food and be annoying to clean since they are not ground flush. Pros: You get a high quality set of pans. You get an almost complete set of pans that distribute heat evenly and cook beautifully

 Everything we received looked fine. The instructions were in English and everything was straight forward for anyone with an average IQ. Appearance: The interior of the pots gleam, but the exterior is not highly polished. This was not a problem for us as we read some reviews and knew what to expect

 This is a pretty complete, high quality set. Cons: They are not non-stick crappy pans so there is a learning curve. To look and perform the best, they should be washed by hand. You cannot just throw them hot into cold water

 You may not like the rivets that stick out when it comes to food, but those are what make the pans so substantial. The steamer insert is fine, but it is clearly made of lesser quality than the other pieces. The lids all fit tightly and I am amazed at how little they let out. I actually have to adjust for some recipes to allow for more venting to get a good reduction while using less cooking gas

Beautiful pans, excellent quality, but I wish the handles weren’t so slender. It doesn’t feel like I can grip them as firmly as I would like, especially moving a hot, loaded pan. Been trying to find silicon grips to alleviate the problem but unsuccessful. Aside from that I have used them a lot and do love them

Glad I finally stopped reading reviews & orderd!

 After a couple weeks of use, the set does not disappoint in that area: good value, quality, and very nice/professional appearance. I didn't give 5 stars because of one thing: the set includes a 3.5 quart sauté pan that would be wonderful, if it was larger diameter. It's roughly same diameter as the 10" skillet (though deeper) and a bit restrictive for family cooking

 I love the fact that I am not eating not-stick pan chemicals and the stainless seems to make food taste better. I also love the beauty and have the pans hanging in front of a tall kitchen window where they SHINE. It makes me happy.

Other thoughts: Wasn't happy cooking with teflon for health reasons so I thought these would be great.  Not so. They are heavy to the point that they hurt my hands just trying to clean them and cleaning them is a tough chore.  Boiling in water helps
