The Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless 16-Inch roaster pretty much does it all when it comes to roasting, de-glazing, and gravy making in the oven and on the stovetop. This burly pan is an excellent option for a year-round roaster, even if you only use the rack on Thanksgiving. We loved this pan for cooking meat and main courses and also found ourselves roasting vegetables in it sans rack for weeknight meals. It's easy to clean and very versatile. Its handles work well with oven mitts or a dish towel, and it's certainly sturdy enough to hold a 20-pound bird for the whole family. Though many pans came close and have very similar designs, the Cuisinart has the most reasonable price tag of the bunch, landing it our highest honor.
The main, small design flaw we saw with this roaster is its sharp edge and lack of lip. Many of its competitors have a rounded lip, making it easier to pour liquids from the pan when making gravy. However, this isn't a deal-breaker when considering the pan's impressive performance in heat distribution, ease of cleaning, and overall design.  

Not only is the Cuisinart MultiClad Pro a top-quality cookware set, but it heats up quickly, which is unusual for stainless steel. Its stunning exterior looks at home in any kitchen, and its 3-ply construction with aluminum core ensures even cooking on any stovetop. We cooked eggs &#40;sunny-side up&#41;, made pancakes, roasted potatoes, and boiled rice without a fuss. The cooking performance is similar to our top-performing models, without the additional price. To clean up, try an abrasive scrubber or throw it in the dishwasher. 
Like any stainless steel cookware on the market, it requires cooking know-how to ensure that food doesn't stick. While stickiness wasn't a problem for us, we had to be diligent about preheating and used a temperature gun to ensure the skillet was ready to sear meats and make eggs. Once you get this technique down, food quality is excellent. Another important note &mdash; be sure to use oil or butter every time you cook with sticky foods. The handles don't feel particularly ergonomic, and the metal pan scratched when we used metal utensils or tried to clean it with steel wool. Fortunately, this doesn't compromise cooking performance; it is stainless steel, after all. If you're seeking a great deal on a stainless steel cookware set, this is your best bet.

The roaster was very nice, but according to the product description was "induction ready". I wanted to be able to make gravy on my induction cooktop with the juices in the roasting pan. However the pan is definitely not suited for an induction cooktop. I received it right before Thanksgiving and was very disappointed that I could not use

 There were, of course, fork marks from where I made gravy, but that happens to my mixing bowls too and has never escalated into an issue. I was worried about that

 I didn't make gravy after roasting the chicken (why?? Must have forgotten) but I did after the turkey and OH HECK YES I was able to put this right across two (electric) stove burners and scrape those drippings up just fine. The chicken looked hilariously puny in this size of a pan--to be honest, so did the turkey, a bit--but that makes me confident that I can use it for a 20+ pound behemoth next Thanksgiving if I want.  Other relevant thoughts: -I watched VERY CAREFULLY for the pitting issues some reviewers mentioned. Nothing so far! I haven't used anything acidic in it, just in case, but I will at some point and adjust this review if needed

 At the price I paid, this is a good investment in functionality and size. Any higher and I'd be a little dubious, but your mileage may vary (I'm coming from a lower middle class perspective here--if spending $100+ on a roasting pan is normal for you, go for it). You're unlikely to find it for much less than I paid, but if you do, jump on it. Good pan, worth getting

 I have not yet used the rack and confess that I probably will not. I don't bake cakes, but this would make an awesome sheet cake if I did!

 The rack worked out great to transfer the turkey to the cutting board. I only wish I had let it cook a bit longer, and brined it for another day at least, but over all, the pan is great.  I give only 4-stars because of the 2 nicks in the bottom of the pan, that I noticed when I removed it from the orginal box the day before TG. They are definite nicks, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it, and I didn't have time to get another pan the day before TG

 Do measure your oven width as the handles to require an additional 4" past the 16" of the pan. So, you need at least a 20" wide oven to accommodate this pan. First, I MUST tell buyers that the weight of this pan is amazing. BUT it may not fit into every oven without major surgery. We have a GE Profile drop-in electric range (pretty darn standard for a home appliance) and the handles that stick out made this pan far too wide to slide in sideways, and when we tried it front to back, the oven door would not close. Now, I do not recommend anyone do this, but my partner put it on the nearby carpet and forced all his weight down on it and was finally able to bend the handles in to total 18 inches so it would go into the oven! Now - I must add I bought this to try fast-cooking a 14 lb turkey at 500 degrees for an hour and a half total (and I will never do turkey the slow drying-out way again!) And it also must be noted that this pan stood up to the task with NO sign of duress! And the gravy I made from the drippings across two burners on the stove top had no hot spots

 I actually LOVE this pan! But important to give the overall dimension INCLUDING handles to be sure it fits on YOUR oven! And good luck.

 (My Cuisinart stockpot has the same thing). Some reviews seem to indicate a bad batch of these pans which pitted badly; this isn't one of them, but it's probably not going to be a lifetime pan either; we'll see.

 The mirror finish cleans up like magic. A little heat discoloration showed up after deglazing and reducing a sauce with high heat on the stovetop - I consider this normal. Durability: 4 stars so far. The only thing that prevents a five-star rating are a couple of small nicks and some spot discoloration in the inside finish

Solid.  For a tool that's not in everyday or even necessarily weekly use, this is very good quality for a good price.

The bottom of the turkey did not get to temperature and was slightly raw even though the top was way past temperature. Not sure if it was because of the depth of the pan and not getting proper circulation? Or, if the bird took up room beyond the edges not allowing for circulation

 Clean up was easy. I'd recommend, but I read somewhere how someone just cooked his turkey on the oven grate directly and had a catch pan underneath. Smart person. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, I'd go with this route :)

875"x3". The length of the pan with handles included is about 19". It will still make a larger lasagna than my regular 9x13" baking dish, but not quite as deep as I was hoping to achieve with this pan.

 The specs in the item description are for the box that the pan comes in, not for the pan itself. I bought the pan thinking it was 6" deep so it could be used for making a large deep lasagna. The actual specs of the inside of the pan are 15.875"x11

This pans a beauty. A veritable showpiece; especially for the price. I couldn't ask for more, really. For the sticklers - myself included - the stainless rack had a weld that looked like it had been clamped up in vise grips

 I actually leave it easily accessible because it is not a uni-purpose as I originally assumed. I have used it to make baked pastas, and because it is so large it works great for doing two recipes in one dish. We are a two person household, and do not generally eat the same meals. So doing half baked ziti with ground beef for him and half baked ziti with veggies for me more than fits in the pan and saves on clean up time and sink space

I have used it to roast veggies mostly, and for me, I like doing it in the because I can stir them without making a mess and do not have to be as careful as with a baking sheet. Also, since the sides are so high you can just chop and toss the vegetables into the pan as you go and season and toss in place

 I've also done one bacon wrapped meatloaf that got rave reviews (on the rack) which cooked very quickly and evenly and ended up much less greasy than having it sit in it's fat while it cooked.  The pan cleans up great, I use stainless steel cookware all the time, so I know a quick soak means an easy clean up. While I understand most people prefer the easy wipe off of non stick, I personally prefer to err on the side of caution and would rather soak and scrub a little if required than take the health risk of the easier option. It looks to be made well, the handles are beyond heavy duty and support the weight well

Great for more than just poultry

 Easy and safer for transporting in/out of oven. And I love that I can place on the smooth top of the range and it works with the induction elements. I used the convection mode for the first time while roasting the oven stuffer, and my husband and I concurred that it was by far the most moist yet well cooked chicken that I've ever served. Will definitely use convection from now on for cooking other meals

This roaster is just what I need for our induction/convection GE Profile range. Not too heavy (important for me since I have health issues with my hands), and the roaster worked great with the Perdue Oven Stuffer that I cooked as the first item in it. Easy and safer for transporting in/out of oven. And I love that I can place on the smooth top of the range and it works with the induction elements

 The rack came out spotless. I definitely recommend this roaster pan for anyone who has a range like ours. I can only imagine that it would be excellent in other ranges as well. Price was excellent, product arrived well packaged with no dents or scratches (as some other reviewers had commented that their's had markings/scratches)
