 I used the blender daily but what now? Cuisinart said 3 to 5 weeks to repair. No mention in Cuisinart literature on this weak spot or how to repair at home. The brass will not come off the motor shaft. May need a new motor

This thing is trash. I'd return it if I could, can I? First off, it runs around 150 decibels so it scares the hell out of my kids when we use it. It really doesn't blend much and is probably better used as a door prop. Are you thinking about buying this, well, don't! The one I replaced from my wedding 10 years ago (which leaked) would be a better alternative to this one

 The unit should not require this much attention and maintenance from consumers. My blades are already gapped and bent from having come off while blending. Additionally, replacement blades and/or the blade assembly are unavailable.

Very noisy blender with plastic jar

Having read a good percentage of the reviews, I was surprised that this blender is not only not very powerful, it has a huge design flaw: if the blades get stuck on a hard nut or piece of ice, the blades spin in the other direction, and unscrew the bottom of the blender. This makes an enormous mess, and the only workaround is threading the blade cap extremely tight, so much that you need a grip pad to remove it again when you are cleaning the unit. Due to this, I tend to watch it very carefully, and keep the blending to short bursts. Which for this price, is just not a good customer experience

If I hadn't already recycled the box, this would be on its way back to the supplier, and I will not buy a Cuisinart product again based on the lack of basic engineering quality control

Bungled Blender Design

 I did not realize then that I was sending it to a bot. The bot tested it and emailed that they spent $135 on tests and found that the blade worked fine. No more communication so I thought they just kept it. But a couple of days ago It came back not fixed after they held it for several months
