I was using a Logitech 5.1 system previously, but, over the years (and several moves), I was down to just one speaker (the front left). This made for mushy sound in various applications, but, really became a problem when post-COVID I was working from home 100% of the time.  I purchased a Logitech for $30 more and am much happier with the fullness of the bass and the sound.  I'm not sure if there's better in the price range but I feel like a soundbar could give the same quality with less cabling hassle.

Only okay for the price

 Bass is not there unless you keep it at a low level. Once you peak out the volume, it sounds like its straining. You want a good speaker system purchase the sony SRSDB500. $130

The sub-woofer is a HAPPY enhancement over what I had; I am definitely much pleased by its contributions! But the two tiny “towers” are a source of considerable disappointment. For one, they cannot be “adjusted” in ANY way – one's ONLY “control” (overall) is via VOLUME and BASS (sub-woofer)

 To the contrary, I have definitely “UPGRADED” over what's been replaced! “Tiny” towers notwithstanding, I am distinctly PLEASED with what I now “hear” that I never had before! And – this system IS “complete” … DO NOT BUY anything else, as all you need is INCLUDED! “Packaging” is entirely appropriate and sufficient.. “Instructions” are a bit (unnecessarily) obtuse – but its only TWO (obvious) wires needed for “connection” to make this system operational (plus the power cord, of course.) Conclusion: while I am personally disappointed in certain respects, I am generally definitely satisfied with this purchase as a matter of “value” … it's fully worth its price

EXCELLENT for the “price” – as far as that goes

 It controls everything at your fingertips; but used with an Echo DOT, you also have voice control for "louder/softer/mute/stop & selection/source".  For guests, these don't have a convenient blutooth or WiFi capability, but I put an "old school" 3.5 mm audio cord on the desk, so that they could plug into the "earphone" audio-in port on the puck. For $36, I'm amazed at how good these sound

 I was pleased that the various cords with this set are generous in length. Please don't ask me to crawl under that desk again for the exact length of the cords. They are likely about a foot longer than most folks would ever require for desktop speakers.  The speakers were easy to set up, and with the bass level turned down to about 1/3, they are really impressive

.. for my "sort of audiophile" sensitivities, that's an abomination. Realistically, I think anyone would consider the bass excessive at maximum level; but much of that depends on where the sub-woofer is placed

Surprised a "Grumpy Old Man" with expensive audio gear.

 All the wires are rolled up, covered with bubble wrap or plastic and tied with twist wires. Wires run from the subwoofer to the to the multi-function control pod and your computer screen. The twin speakers have wires that go the subwoofer. The control pod goes to the subwoofer and your computer

  The subwoofer is medium sized but puts out a killer bass. The speakers sound crisp and clean. The sound of this system is very very good, especially for the price. The speakers are very lightweight, so I used ‘command strips’ to get them sturdy

 The subwoofer is sturdy and belts out a clean bass.  Basically, it is a very good sounding speaker system, especially for the price. I’ve owned several speakers systems for computers over the years and I have to say this system is really good. I’d give it five stars if the wires were less confusing and the speakers had a heavier weight at the bottom

 It has a microphone and a headset plug. The top of the controller turns easily in a circular fashion and the bass is controlled by the pod. I found it was best to turn the subwoofer all the way up and control the entire sound by the pod which rolls. Once put together the sound is totally controlled by the rolling pod

A Unique And Great Sounding System

 You can adjust to your liking and it gives the speakers an amazing punch of power. Make sure you set it to external speakers as the output and, the content to music. Then go to profile and select and click on the make and look for "Cyber Acoustics" and then select it. This being the make of these speakers
