I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

 When fitted correctly they stay put taking your lid on and off.  I barely notice them after a few minutes.

New rider. Just got off my first 30 minute freeway ride. Stopped at chick fil a, and man it’s hard to hear. I don’t think I realized how much the wind affects your hearing. I have a bluetooth unit mounted, so I was listening to music, but no earplugs. Couldn’t fully understand the girl at the register, told her my name when she asked what drink I wanted...

I've got a Caburg droid and above around 50 MPH I have to wear earplugs else I end up with a massive ear ache and dulled hearing for a while.

Do all bikers use earplugs? Or am I using the wrong helmet? If I block the sides of my neck with my arms whilst going along the helmet is relatively silent.

 I got the 31db version as well, but I’ll be returning those since I haven’t shaped them yet. These will become my backup ear plugs, and will likely continue to use the Surefire ear plugs since I know those are comfortable and also do the trick. I just wanted something that could be custom molded, but I’ll just go back to what I know.

 If you follow the directions, and wait about 30 seconds, they’ll be cool enough to mold in your ear, and not burn.  I bought these because I fly a lot, and wanted something to filter out the jet noise a bit but still be able to hear and talk with my coworkers. I’m able to do so, but I can’t have these in longer than an hour because they start to hurt. Therefore, not doing me any good when I’m flying for multiple hours at a time

Not enough noise reduction and the filters let too much bass through for me (motorcycle riding with loud pipes.) Additionally, the same rubber style triple flange also bothered my ears after 1-2 hours

  Fortunately for these there is a simple fix. Swap out the plugs with memory foam buds (ones that fit 5-6mm post) and comfort issue solved!  But there was still the issue of the filters. I tried swapping the eargasm filters in but they were way to big. So I took a shot and ordered the Eargasm "smaller" filters and lo and behold if they weren't almost an exact match in size and shape to these! Swapped out the filters in seconds and now I have both noise reduction, frequency response, and comfort I was looking for!  I can hear my helmet speakers and traffic around me without going deaf from wind and exhaust

 I contacted the company and they said I needed the "pro" version. They did help me out and sent me replacement filters. They work better now. As for comfort

  But the ones on now work well, and do a great job at protecting my hearing in the loud shop environment. Will be testing them at a festival in September.  UPDATE: Worked great at the festival (while I had them) one ear piece fell off of their lanyard due to a poor seal, and I lost it. Disappointed in their lanyard, but the plugs themselves still worked great and provided great audio clarity

Great Quality Mold, Lesser Quality Tips

I play electric guitar live several times a week for many hours, in rooms where to SPL exceeds 100db often. I have purchased numerous different brands of earplugs, trying to get a good fit but have never found any that have decent fidelity, reduce the sound to an acceptable volume and can be worn for extended periods, even professionally made ones by my ear-doctor. These plugs were easy to mold, feel good and are doing a nice job sealing my ear canal. I’m picky about fidelity because I know how instruments should sound and so far I’m happy with these

I use these mostly for motorcycle riding. I found that they do a decent job reducing sound levels, but I wouldn't exactly call the sound quality high fidelity. It is more muffled than clear. I also found them uncomfortable with certain helmets that fit tighter around the ear
