It seems as if the build quality is much better. Additionally, it's got better ratings (waterproofing, temp ceilings, etc.). I'd rather invest in a good version now than suffer later. I ruggedized my phone and I can never look back to a normal phone, so doing the same for my laptop is a no brainer.
