 I feel like I should have just broke down and got the AD 20 last year, but I guess I could always turn to petty theft this year. The Demko Knives AD 20.5 blade is made from AUS 10A steel versus the Snob 20 CV in the full size AD 20. It's a decent budget steel, but I can see a few people shitting themselves in the comments already

 It's got a really unique lock, it's fidgetable but with an air of danger. Will I eventually lob the tips of my fingers off? I don't know, but I'm excited to find out. This one was about $150 I think. Which brings up a point, Demko is a smaller company that fits most of the bill for their research and development, their patenting money, handling the manufacturers

Am looking for a high quality assisted or auto that I can open and close easily with one hand. I broke my thumb a while back and never got full strength back, and I walk with a cane (les-franc broken foot).  So I'd like something easily I can open &amp; close with a weak hand.  I have tried many microtech autos and I like the form factor, but they're hard for me to operate. I have a Medford smooth criminal that is super-easy and smooth (BTW - they've been super nice and responsive and quick to help when I've had questions or boneheaded bent the clip (my fault)).  I have various non auto microtechs and some spidercos, but I prefer slim profiles to fit in the knife pocket on my tru-spec pants.... Recommendations, folks?

ISO: High quality one handed soft-opening assisted or auto or just uber smooth? Broke my thumb and never got full strength back.

Purchased mine off another platform, but coming from 100 other knives its nice to see something with a unique and different locking mechanism. Love the sharkfoot blade, very fidgety, had to swap out the scales to CF.. great addition to the collection

I personally find the socom elite to be very ugly and un interesting.

I also don’t think the Roosevelts look very great, I’m sure they’re awesome knifes fit and finish and use wise but to me they just look like any other 150 dollar knife. I would much prefer a Koenig arius at that price.
