Ecovacs Deebot T8

After getting sick of dealing with it, I threw it out and and bought an Ecovacs Deebot with auto-cleaning base and obstacle avoidance. I've had the ecovacs for about a week now, and I've decided I'm going to return it, because, while it's way better than the Xiaomi one and does a great job cleaning, it still gets stuck all the damn time, and I can't "set and forget it" while I'm at work, which defeats the entire purpose of having it. The vacuum I think I want is the roborock T7 Pro, but that seems to be only available in china, and it only works with the Mi Home app, which I had to use for the Xiaomi and it was an awful awful app.

My dogs make my floors so gross, so I shelled out for an Ecovacs T8 and holy shit that vacuum is worth the money (expensive though). I run it every day, and got the auto empty station as well so I really don't need to touch it at all. It also has a mop so I run it with the mop pad once a week and as needed. My floors are no longer gross.

Yes, its really good with that - much better than the normal brush rolls with bristles. I tried the Ecovacs T8+ before and that one i needed to clean every 2 days with my 2 long haired cats. Sometimes you need to remove the hair on the ends - also on the little spinning bristle. But thats fast and easy - much less maintanance than other robot vaccuums.

Overall I’m very happy with the Deebot T8+. I bought three on sale at Best Buy $600 and only have some small concerns. One being the auto empty base may have trouble with longer hair that clumps in the bin. It wasn’t able to clear it effectively because it doesn’t un-clump in the bin to be sucked out.
