 I Think this is what people say about the outdoor that doesn't sound like it wouldn't you? Chloe but doesn't sound echoing and hollow. A lunchbox see like a plastic you I Quite like the tone and that volume is pretty good. Actually, it's not quiet, there's no bends or dips in the top that you get on things like the Waterman. The neck is strengthened inside so it's not bending while wire effect and that volume is pretty good to sustain

 I Don't normally like delicate sound holes like that on wooden instruments because they're fragile. This isn't fragile. this is tough. You also though, get a side sample there as well

 I gave it 4 stars for sound and value while trusting that my complaint will likely be addressed. Later..

 I suppose if I really want to I can just return it and get another and gamble that the stringing will be better next time. My advice is to order some spare strings at the time that you order one of these in case you run into the same problems. I took one star away for the poor response so now it is 3 stars.

 This is my first Uke so I can't give you any meaningful information other than my friend's remark. I can update this with more info later. I gave it 4 stars for sound and value while trusting that my complaint will likely be addressed. Later

 The strings were in the wrong positions which means that the longer C and E strings were in the shorter G and A positions and were cut too short to be used in the proper position. I had to use the "spare" pack of strings to fix it - which means I have no spares now. I sent a message so we will see how they respond - (with a pack of strings if they are a good company). Yes I could have returned it but this seems so wasteful when a new pack of strings would be so much more economical for everyone

I really enjoy this great little back up and travel ukulele! I bought this ukulele because I wanted an uke that was tough enough to travel with, rain & waterproof enough to take camping, came with strap buttons built in, had a good reputation for sound quality, and priced reasonably enough that I wouldn't be afraid to take it out of the house. This one fit the bill perfectly!  The Pros: It's tough and waterproof It has a great bright sound and sounds great for chords and doing slides. I like the strings (in general), which is a lot to say coming from a string junkie like myself!) It stays in tune well It has 13 frets to the nut and a cutaway on the opposite side to get even deeper for those who like to play up the neck. It has strap buttons It is priced well The case is slim, looks great, has a shoulder strap, and is pretty firm  The cons: The only real con is that I prefer a 29mm space from the G to the A string at the nut for "my" comfort

If the nut wasn't molded into the fret board, I would have replaced it, but that is not an option in this uke.  Minor stuff: It's not as good at "hammer-ons" (seems to deaden the sound fast) The action seems a tad high to me, which I plan to lower by sanding the saddle The "open" E-string is a little dull, but works wonderfully in chords The case doesn't have any pocket for picks, strings, tuner batteries, etc

Great travel uke!

 Doesn’t feel the sturdiest but holds up fine from use so far. Biggest plus is the way the strings are on it, no tying it around the bridge, just knot one end like the ball on a guitar string and string it up.  Downside for me has to be the case. Overall it’s a decent case for protecting the instrument but I don’t know how much I’d want to trust it from much weight on top or being tossed around

Beach, snow, whatever and it won’t have any issues from humidity and all that like a wood instrument has. Good starter ukulele

 The tuning pegs are typical for an inexpensive instrument, but aren’t bad. I’ve seen worse. It stays tuned while playing, but needs to be retuned daily. The E string needs more tuning than the other strings, which could be the string itself

I used to play a mandolin, so this is my first ukulele and therefore I can’t compare it to other ukuleles. I bought it to entertain my grandson, so I wanted something a bit more durable than wood. The sound is very good; warm; which is typical of carbon fiber. I would consider the string height to be a bit high

As advertised this is a very inexpensive and low risk option for a ukulele purchase. When tuned up the intonation is pretty good. The action down towards the saddle is a touch high for my tastes. Only complaint is that to me the resonance sounds strange, especially when the strings fall out of tune even just a little bit

 I really do enjoy it. My only negative is that it doesn't have a sound hole on the side (like their Concert). It's my fault for not noticing that before I bought - there was no deception. But, I really enjoy playing it

Fun Soprano Uke

 This uke will survive as we move to notes.  It may have less volume, resonance, and overtones than a wooden instrument, but it has survivability in the hands of a little child. Adults will enjoy its disregard for the weather and environment. It has a great little shell case with strap and travels very well

A true musical instrument for the sticky finger set. My one year old grandchild strums along with me in open tuning. This uke will survive as we move to notes.  It may have less volume, resonance, and overtones than a wooden instrument, but it has survivability in the hands of a little child
