So across the top here underneath the solar array, if you can see down inside there, you do have buttons that allows you to make adjustments to tuning

 This radio is well built, it's durable, it's going to last a long time. In fact, they've actually made different versions of this radio and they've been around for many, many years. and this particular model has been out for for several years as well. And it is recommended by the American Red Cross

 But nonetheless, I'm real happy with this radio. It's a great product. Full disclosure: I reached out to them and asked if I could take a look at the product and maybe do a review on it and they are more than happy to send it to me for free so I did not spend money on this.  [Music] so it's got really good reception. Uh, you know you still may need to use this depending on your location and where you're at. But nonetheless, I'm real happy with this radio. It's a great product

Nice construction; but cannot replace battery

 Again, the F 4 X 3 plus does have a much larger antenna than the Fr X2 is about $10 more on price. So here's the first - and here's the F My extreme + Honey: 10 to 15 miles per hour decreasing to under 10 miles per hour after waves less than a foot behind in the lower 50s Tonight mostly clear light winds waves less than a foot below is their 40 Thursday sunny light winds waves less than a foot. Eyes on the Lord Thursday Night Clear. here's max on this one so there's a substantial difference in the actual sound quality which makes sense

 You have the actual tuner knob right here on this side over here and then you also have the actual volume controls right here. Also, here's a mute button on/off and a battery indicator inside along with a digital tuner. Again, I do prefer digital I Know quite a few people to prefer an analog tuner. The one thing I don't particularly like about this radio is it is held together with Torx screws right and normal Phillips screws

 substantially bigger and heavier then kind of other ones. He read this first: the rechargeable lithium ion battery has a disk into for transportation purposes. He used the crank charge system, open the battery compartment and connect our rechargeable batteries plug into the socket / diagram. Let's do that now

 You have an aux jack here 3.5 millimeter. You have a headphone jack here who you ask me for charging and us people to charge your phone. Close those back up and see that the actual display with the time is constantly on

Eton FRX3+ Unboxing and Review

I wanted the radio in the photo, not the one I received!

 Switch should be behind light lens, on same panel as the cell charge button, IMO.  14] Weather channel #7 came in clearly for us in Eastern Maine; the only one of the seven for which we had reception.  15] With only two of three bars, before 6 hour wall charging, this unit charged a Samsung S4 cell phone with it's cable, from 85% to 100% charge in 15 minutes.  Hope that covers initial issues and observations

 I'm suspecting, because of my troubles detailed above, that full charge, three of three bars, will persist with use for quite a while. But, that when two of three bars shows, it is actually much less that 'two-thirds charged'. Time to start cranking; after disconnecting everything.  12] User manual states FOUR MINUTES of cranking gets you energy to charge phone for 1 minute call or 10 minutes radio

 1] Unit should be designed to have a storage compartment for the AC-DC charging cord.  2] It also should include an AC-DC charging brick with the unit, as a required component.  3] The LED light is not that strong; the red blinker is even more feeble. I will rely on my MagLite, instead

 Cranked unit to add charge to the battery, which showed two out of three bars, out of the box, until three bars. About one minute of cranking.  Tried to set up time and alarm clock. Got the time ok

  The battery cover will fall off if you shake or bump the radio. It will fall off if you carry the radio in a backpack or bag of pretty much any container. The battery cover will fall off. You need to take it closed and use the tape as you latch
