 I do have extended warranty protection with my credit card so I may just get it fixed if it can be, get it credited or whatever and sell it to a friend for a big discount. Either way, never touching Eufy RoboVacs again. Anything that can't last two years minimum I just never buy that brand again if I can help it. Either way I need to get something soon because dear god there is so much cat litter all over and I really took for granted that machine when it was working

 Eufy replaced it with a brand new one about a week later, I got some magnetic strips to prevent it from grinding on the door sill. No problems with it for most of its life since, it bounces around randomly and thus doesn't get all the cat litter as a result but it got the job done for the price.

 Anything that can't last two years minimum I just never buy that brand again if I can help it. Either way I need to get something soon because dear god there is so much cat litter all over and I really took for granted that machine when it was working.

 Get the 30 if you don't need app control, get the 30C if you do want app control. Compared to models from other brands, the 15C Max is definitely in the upper tier of random padding robots we tested. Eufy 15C MAX Review - Comparison to 15C, 11S, 30C

 I would recommend this to everyone (robot vacuum). Now this particular model, I have no issues, no concerns yet. It picks things up, it puts the stuff in its bin, it returns to charging station (takes a while, but it does). Lasts for 1 hour, 50 minutes of vacuuming, and takes about 3 or 4 hours to completely charge

Good, easy, time will tell. Would recommend.

Best Robot Vacuum to use with Homebridge?

 Just stopped. I could put it in reverse and it would start up again and go for awhile longer. Now mind you I would check it, I would clean it and I would empty it, and then 15 minutes later it would give the same message.  I finally contacted Eufy customer support via chat

  Now here's where they need to work on their support system. I had the chat, they had agreed to send me a replacement unit, I sent that chat transcript to them and then via email I was told I needed to send video of it malfunctioning. Basically taking me back to square one. I said no, I'm not following the vacuum around the house until it fails

So let's start with the fact that this is an excellent vacuum for the price... as long as you don't get a dud

 More moving parts tends to equal more fail rates. The only vacuum cleaner I've ever owned that's lasted a long time is a Shop Vac but that's not automated and has minimal moving parts.  I will try and do an update of this review in a year .

We are hoping to spend less than 300 and not expecting it to replace actual vacuuming and mopping, just further the interval between them.

Best robo vac to shuffle weekly between carpeted upstairs and hardwood downstairs?

 Only the EUFY can be used in these rooms. Has the best record of finding home. Had the best support feedback I got from any company. The dustbins have the best design of any of our robots, and getting spares were amazingly inexpensive

 Will NOT go onto dark carpets. Replacement dust bins are expensive. Parts a bit of problem to find. We use these in our bedroom and living room, where we spend most of our time because they keep the dust and lint down the best

 So, the bottom line is that the last 3 vacuums I have purchased are Eufys. None of these are perfect, but I have settled on Eufy. If and when our Deebots fail, we most likely will replace them with Deebots for the reason I stated above.
