Trying to either change switches or keycaps on a mechanical keyboard.. but having a hell of a time finding the keycaps (or at least a higher profile)

Picked up a Keychron K1 keyboard. Nice keyboard, but my hands are too big for laptop keys. Too low of a profile and caps are wafer-thin.I generally use Logitech keyboards and am new to mechanical. Done a few days of research though and figured out a few things, but the stems on these are impossible to find in a non low profile or different cap. I'm used to what I believe are OEM profile, but would be up for anything that's taller. (preferably pudding caps as it's RGB)

I believe they are also the same as Kailh CHOC, but also can only be found in low profile. Does anyone know of a higher profile or higher profile switch?? (I'd REALLY like to switch out to a typewriter/round keycap)Don't know for sure if the switches are soldered or hot-swappable, and not a lot of info on that looking it up on their site. About to take it apart and find out, but thinking that could get dangerous.. haa haa.  (Have done HOURS of research into it.. and can work on Laptops.. fairly confident I "could"...  would just rather not if I can simply switch out keycaps or switch stems to Cherry Standard)

I'm not looking for much. I just would like to know if anyone knows of any full-sized PCBs? The closest I've seen is the Melody96's (which is a fantastic board), though I would really prefer it to be full-size (I'm a lefty who **actually uses his left hand on the mouse;** right hand on the keyboard, so I use the Numpad and such).

It would be also really nice if there was an aluminium case such as the one for the Tofu65 (with the brass weight) or even one similar to the Melody96.

Great Switches but Bad Batch

Ordered the KBD67 Lite R2 on the last day hours before it ran out of stock. Placed order for keycaps on Aliexpress (to ship to California) and they left the country of China a day ago. Tough waiting for the May 30th ship day for KBDFans. 😅

Me Waiting for the KBD67 Lite R2 to Ship.

 (Better than the Tangerines? I would say a lubed Aqua King and lubed Tangerine are on par. I prefer the latter's sound, but that is only my opinion. You need to test them out for yourself and also on the board you plan to put them into.)  In all, my rating comes down to the switch and not just the comparison to another switch

If all the switches were properly lubed as they should be, I would be giving them a 4 star. Unfortunately, failing to fulfill the qualities of the selling points of the switch and due to inconsistencies in the lubing, I will bring it down to 2 stars, below average

I started with intermediate difficulty and went with a ErgoDox with Kaihl Box Navy switches and a custom-printed Keycap set from Signature Plastics.

Thats what I first got but with different switches. I realized after using it for a while, that I need my Arrow Keys so I was getting the NK65 Milkshake. Still love the GK61 tho.

But there are other cheap options out there to consider if you want to start with the Hobby.  
Many Costs accumulate through Shipping and Costum Fees depending where you live...

Minor issues

 Well, out of the 86 switched that I received, over 60% were pretty scratchy and inconsistently lubed. 3. Within that bad batch of 60%, about 20 switches were just plain AWFUL. It almost sounded defective as I could clearly hear the springs SQUEAKING, stems were very, VERY SCRATCHY when being depressed slowly, and the housing were a bit wobbly

 Also, there were some bent stems. I understand that this could happen during transit, but these are by far the worse I've seen (see pictures). 10 switches were really bad, about 20 had minor bent stems. The 10 bad ones, I had some issues making them work properly and took a few attempts installing

Aqua King v3 - The most inconsistent switch I've ever bought, and beware of KPrep

This is the best linear switch you can buy stock without having to lube or film, zero debate.  Is it as good as lubing and filming gat black ink v2s, C3 Tangerines, or Alpacas? No, and that’s okay.  Stock VS stock comparison everglides would still destroy all 3 of the linear kings fresh out of the bag. If you want a low hassle, high quality linear - look no further
