Solid construction, but the fit is all wrong for short people

Similar to the complaints of others, the back rest on this is non-ergonomic & could stand to be improved. A modified gamer seat (the back contouring of a gamer seat combined with a bike seat) would make this ideal. I've included pictures of the knobs that were oddly placed and/or could stand to be improved. Part 14 (Image 2) - the knob for the seat adjustment is a pain in the a$$ to screw & unscrew for people of different sizes/heights

 I have been trying to use the bike without the backseat, and that is not helpful. Basically, I have a bike that I should not be using at all since it isn't made to be used without a backseat. It hurts my back because I need to lean back; that is how the bike is designed. Next, it is not made for someone that is tall

For instance, as the desk height is adjusted, it is coming forward, so you have to keep adjusting the desk itself to make it comfortable to use

Could be better

Overall I have this product 4 stars, I am writing this review as I pedal on it now. I am an educator and unfortunately that means I spend considerable amount of time on my computer as well as sitting grading and reading articles. I am also a physical therapist and didn't think I would have a "desk job" until I began teaching at the university full time. So I needed something to help me with my cardio specifically ( after 2 years I never mastered going beyond 3
