 To work toward my fitness and weight loss goals, I adhered to the following 35 minute regimen, six days per week:  I would warm up for five minutes at the easiest resistance on the dial (1 out of 8), followed by medium to high intensity intervals of Resistance 3, 5, 3, 5, 3, 5 for five minutes each. I went hard, got a GREAT workout, and lost 30 pounds in the process. So why am giving a 3 Star Review for such outstanding results? As I have now put 2700 miles on it, a replacement pedal, I believe I got my moneys worth and plan on buying a higher tier bike from the same company after this pedal burns out. 4000 right pedal bearing 4350 left pedal split 4791- drive belt went, replaced but still seems wonky above mode 5

Love it, but it hurts my butt.

 I still did my 10 miles a night for 2 weeks, but not without pain and soreness on my behind afterward. I tried to contact the manufacturers to ask them if they made a different kind of seat for shorter, thinner people like me, but never heard back.

The bike seems to have been designed for bigger and taller people. I am 5'5'' and reaching the pedals was not 100% confortable, even after lowering the seat all the way. This was a bit of a problem in itself, but what made it much worse was the design of the seat. The seat is so wide that my inner thighs rubbed agains the edges when I pedaled

In order to avoid some of this friction I had to sit too far forward on the very tip of the seat, which caused a different kind of pain on my tail bone since all my weight was concentrated on a small area. I found myself constantly having to adjust my sitting which distracted me from the actual excercise

Very good product - but designed for bigger people

 Aside from that the bike is perfect. It's small, doesn't take up a lot of space and, for once, the seat is comfortable! The seat is large enough to where I can do crunches while pedaling. It has been over two weeks and the bike TRULY is silent! No noise at all and aside from the console issue, no problems whatsoever. It's light enough to move from one room to another
