The Fender FA-125 was the most fun to play and felt inspiring right out of the box. This beautiful and lightweight guitar has a full and balanced sound, providing the cleanest articulation out of the entire test fleet. This means you can hear every single string with great clarity as you strum chords or fingerpick. This guitar comes with a padded gig bag, a rarity amongst beginner kits, and it also includes a lot of great accessories. Although the production quality isn't the highest, the video on the instructional DVD was thorough, easy to follow, and full of really helpful information for anyone new to the guitar. This budget guitar will stand up to the test of time for your learning years.
Even though we liked this guitar the best out of all of those we tested, it is still a budget buy for the instrument market, and it does have a couple of potential drawbacks. Some minor "fret buzz" on the lower strings suggested that it may still need to go in for a setup at a guitar shop. The intonation was pretty good but not perfect, meaning that even when in tune, not all the pitches on the fretboard will be perfectly accurate. We liked it for its even balance between low and higher-pitched sounds, but it may lack character to someone with a more discerning ear. Even though we appreciated that the gig bag came padded, it doesn't include and storage pockets for accessories. Also, it may not be the best choice for a small child's first guitar, as this full-size instrument's steel strings will be a challenge for small hands.

 It's a new, I'm going to say staple in Fender's lineup of affordable acoustic guitars and everyone seems to gravitate towards these guitars because there's Fender on the headstock and it plays and sounds great. It lights up so many lives getting your first acoustic guitar and the FA-125 is now definitely up there because they're so easy to play and they sound great. Spruce top, mahogany backing sides, it's kind of like a no-frills acoustic guitar in the best possible way. Buy it, strum it, sound good

 Now, neither guitar comes with a guitar strap, but the Fender has the hook on the top and the bottom to allow you to attach one. So for me, that's very compelling and ultimately will help me. and ultimately it's because of that that I'm going to choose the Fender to stay with over the Power Acoustik. Hello Everybody! My name is Josh and this is my very first vlog ever. So what I'm going to try and do today is show you two different entry-level guitars, both available at Costco. On this side, the Fender Fa125, Dreadnought, and on this side the Power Acoustics Amber Series Guitar. There are some very real differences between these two

 and on the Power Acoustic Guitar, three of the strings are metal and three of the strings are nylon, just like the original set that it came with. Now, I want to draw your attention to the tuner. The Fender tuner actually frustrated me. The direction of the text is oriented so it's going from down to up, and that's not very comfortable to look at compared to the Power Acoustic Tuner is actually oriented properly

 But probably the most compelling feature that makes the Fender a winner to me is that it has a guitar strap hook. The Power Acoustik does not, which makes it very difficult to play while standing up for me almost impossible. Now, neither guitar comes with a guitar strap, but the Fender has the hook on the top and the bottom to allow you to attach one. So for me, that's very compelling and ultimately will help me
