 The Rumble 25 does, but let me bring you to the back. The Fender Rumble is a popular amp, but there are a lot of different models within the line. This video will quickly discuss each one so you know which is right for you. 

I was a little disappointed by the sound of this amp. To my ears, it's not as punchy (or tight) as I would like. It has a bit of mud and hollowness that I don't typically like to hear. However, the price is outstanding, and I have no problem at all carrying it around

 I've been able to dial in a bit better tone by putting an eq/booster pedal in front of it. If the tone sounded more like the traditional Fender sound (like an old Bassman), I'd give it 5 stars. But unfortunately, it just sounds like a generic bass combo.

All I need rn is an affordable amp for practicing in my bedroom (that also doesn’t sound terrible). The most I’m willing to spend on an amp is $400, but less than that would be nice. I’ve looked at a few combo amps with good reviews, e.g. Fender Rumble 100, Peavey MAX 100, and Ampeg RB-112 (100 watts &amp; 1x12” speaker). What bass amps would y’all recommend?

Looking for a practice amp for my 5 string

I generally play a Hartke 3500 with matching cabinet with 4 10” speakers. I wanted something a little more portable to do low volume playing to gig with some friends out of town. I play 5-string bass and when the volume of the amp is 50% or a little more, the single 10” speaker resonates and rattles badly when I play open B string. I’ll be lugging the 4-10 cabinet and Hartke head which is what I was trying to avoid because of back problems

 It is suited for larger venues. If you play 5-string bass, I do not recommend this amp.

Not good for low end

 I still have to reverse the wires on the volume pot or totally disable it and just put a kill switch in there so it's either on wide open or off because I don't play with my volume control anyway, I don't need to, not for the stuff I do. I do have to get some thinner strings though, these are the strings that he put on it and they're a little heavy for me anyways and it would actually sit better into the nut with a little bit thinner string on the E string. But basic four string bass, you know, E-A-D-G, no big deal. If you know how to play guitar and you also know your fretboard pretty good on guitar, going into a bass is like that easy, I mean, not entirely okay, I mean there's some things we gotta learn here like, you know, you're doing more notations than you are chords although there are chords for bass, right, but if you know your notes, I mean, here, you know, you've got a C, C sharp, B, you know, and your E, you've got E, F, F sharp, G, G sharp, A, exactly the same way it would be on the first four top strings of your guitar

 It's like not even a scratch mark on it anywhere. So anyway, I was out looking for a bass amp because obviously I have a bass again. I had an Ibanez Lefty which was a really nice bass, however, being a full scale length bass, frets are further apart and my fingers just won't stretch. So I got rid of that bass and I ended up getting this one from a buddy of mine and it's right handed, it's an SG bass and Epiphone

 Would I recommend this? Well, absolutely I would, for a hundred bucks, even a hundred and nineteen Canadian, okay? You can't go wrong, you know, it's a great amp, it's definitely well worth the money, even at regular retail for one that's in a box, right? Or one that, you know, even a used one like this, like I said, somebody probably just didn't like the output, brought it back or it was a rental, I don't know. But it's still, I got to take advantage of performance warranty, I'm happy and there's not even a mark on the sucker, so hey, what the heck? And like I said, I'm not worried about being obnoxious with this thing, it's just so I can practice and not blow up my home stereo speakers or anything else, this does the trick for me, so that's great. Anyways, so I'd say we're done here, let me know what you guys think, if you have experience with the Rumble 15, let me know what you thought about it. Now, keep in mind too, output levels, even on bass guitars are going to change depending on your pickups you have

I have just a single pickup in there and it's right up at the neck, it's not a super high output pickup, but it works, okay, active pickups are going to be much louder, which means you're going to get a lot more juice out of this puppy, you know, so that's another consideration to take into effect, just because you didn't hear this thing, you know, or see it vibrating the walls off doesn't mean anything, that has to do with the pickup, it has nothing to do with the amp there and of course with the guitar going direct in, that's a huge difference right, you've heard that different increase even at the exact same level on the volume, so you know, it is actually a 15 watt amp, it will put out 15 watts, and be really loud and obnoxious, but you've got to have the right bass for that. The bass I used at Long McQuade had I think dual hums in it, or this thing, I'm not entirely sure what it has in it
