Hello. I just got an Ibanez SR305E for Christmas, and I’m really excited to learn bass! I still need to buy an amplifier. I don’t plan on recording or gigging. All I need rn is an affordable amp for practicing in my bedroom (that also doesn’t sound terrible). The most I’m willing to spend on an amp is $400, but less than that would be nice. I’ve looked at a few combo amps with good reviews, e.g. Fender Rumble 100, Peavey MAX 100, and Ampeg RB-112 (100 watts &amp; 1x12” speaker). What bass amps would y’all recommend?

Well I really like this amp. Sounds great, simple to use. My only complaint is after a month of use the headphone jack stopped working and I use headphones all the time.

Getting my first bass

This is my first bass guitar and second amp I am trying out. MY First was a Joyo portable amp, and it is "good" for what it is Portable . I wanted something more but did not want to spend a lot because I am still learning and I figured I could not go wrong with a Fender. The quality and overall fit and finish is sooo nice

. The Sound Quality is just fantastic for this price range . I tried a number of the presets and they are a lot of fun.

First Impression Wow... As a New at Bass Guitar Player ,This Amp is Awesome & makes Learning Fun!

 Auxiliary in so you can play along with your backing tracks, headphone out so you can play with the speakers muted and just through your headphones. A little USB inputs because they're constantly updating the firmware on this to make it sound better and better for all you lovely folk. Simple as that really, there's a couple of buttons which I'll get to in a moment but let's hear it some more. This was the first preset, that one was called Studio Clean

 Fender amps are amazing whether they're acoustic amps, electric amps or bass amps. Those old Fender bass ones man, those lovely valve things sound so good and you can get those sounds if you're on a little bit of a budget. Well, you haven't got thousands of pounds to spend and you want to play them in your living room or bedroom. The LT25 is a small little 25 watt powerhouse with 30 built-in presets

 The Rumbles have always been popular. I've had the old ones, the big ones that were covered in carpet. A few years ago they bought these new ones, very lightweight, very portable and very loud. 25 watts, it's got an 8-inch speaker in it and it's ported to get that lovely bass low end out even though it's small

 It's very loud, and it does have decent bass, but the amps with the bigger woofers are far bassier. It certainly does shake your walls if you play at home though. And its got plenty of bass, so don't let this discourage you.  Also, if you choose to stream bass guitar on Twitch or something, you can use this amplifier as a secondary microphone

This was my first bass amp ever. In doing my research and with the style of music I choose to play, there's a lot of PEDALS!!!! I am not made of money like that, and personally since I'm playing for myself only, I don't need to get "the best pedal." That said, if you are like me, the features of this product will save you hundreds of dollars. They are customizable

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and capability of the Rumble 25LT. For the price it is an amazing small amp. It definitely holds it's own for practice and small venue gigs. It has a boatload of bells and whistles that I really don't use but the tuner is handy and with an inexpensive footswitch the modeling Function becomes slightly more useable in a live setting

 It's lightweight and well built. I have been playing for years but age and arthritis caught up with me and lugging big gear and playing full scale basses no longer was an option. I now play short scale basses and with the size of the venues shrinking a big rig no longer fits. This amp has excellent tone and blends well with the volumes in small clubs and cafes
