 Once I learned where everything was within the menus, navigating the screen was easy. Above all else, the screen allows you to choose which photos to print. And when, at most, you have 10 prints available in your camera at a time, this proves to be the most useful feature. 

The other new feature is the ability to record audio. Press the mic button on the front of the camera, and audio is recorded 10 seconds before and after the shutter button is pressed. A QR code is then available to be printed on the photo while a copy of the photo and QR code is uploaded via Bluetooth to the Mini LiPlay app. I love when I can trick myself into believing I will actually use a feature like this, but a QR code that links to audio of me inevitably yelling at my friends to smile or look at the camera is not convincing

For all those times you wished your still pictures had sound

 You'll need to edit shots in another app if you aren't happy with how they look right out of your phone's camera. If you're well versed in photo editing this isn't a big deal, but for a product that sells itself on ease of use, we wish the app delivered a more inclusive experience.

The lens is a wide-angle prime that covers a 28mm-equivalent angle of view&mdash;about the same as your smartphone's main lens. There's a selfie mirror next to it, so you can more easily frame arm's-length shots, and it's flanked by the shutter release (to take photos), and a second button to activate the camera's audio recording features (more on that later).

In outdoor light and brightly lit interiors, you'll enjoy speedy autofocus. But the focus does slow down in dim conditions. The LED flash kicks in as a focus-assist beam, and results are typically pretty accurate. But if you're hip enough to attend parties in dimly lit venues, expect some hesitation in focus, and expect to use the flash

Printer broke 9 months into use. Otherwise a great camera that I have used on all my travels.

 Quality and aesthetic are completely different then the non hybrid. It’s nice to reprint photos on the spot. Overall if I was taking photos of non moving objects it would probably be better.

Mehh not what I expected

This is a fun little camera, but there are a few really frustrating features: You have to turn off the flash each time you restart (it doesn't remember your setting); filters must be used before you shoot, not after; it says you can print images from your smartphone, but they have to be in the right vertical format and there are no adjustments in the app. It could also use a tripod mount. All this aside, it's fun to shoot with but I prefer their square model.

Nice camera but with some frustrating features

 It is of course a printer that you can print any image from your phone on. So its a lot of fun, doesn't waste film, saves images forever if you want and is also a nice little printer so this camera is a better bang for the buck than the cheaper versions.
