 However, the pictures failed to show what the mixer looks like with an actual power cord attached to it. So, while it’s selling point may be that it would look cute to have on display on your kitchen counter, don’t forget that it has a long black cord hanging on it, with nowhere to hide.

The big reason I only gave it 1 star is because it overheats within a couple minutes of use. It could be cute as a button, but if the motor isn’t strong enough to mix my chocolate pudding for a whole 2 minutes without making my kitchen smell like fire, then it’s not a safe product to have in my home. And yes, that’s exactly what happened. The first time using it was to make pudding

Over-heated

 The beaters push in and attach securely and the eject button is equally as easy to operate. No complaints at all so far - recommended.

I like the fact this is corded - so many things these days are battery powered and need to be charged or loose power in the middle of using it. And if they sit around too long unused they’re dead when you go to use them…

Nice basic mixer

 Easy to eject the hooks and beaters to clean them, and easy to wipe down the mixer after use. Keep in mind that this is a small, lightweight mixer; it might not last forever.

Never got the right item

 I wish it has a lower speed or perhaps a variable start speed to minimize splash. Anyway, you probably not going to find one in the price range of this unit.
