Gerber Armbar Drive

The Gerber Armbar Drive is the most recent for me. But I don't like the whole "Postman, 17 (M)" followed by a Spyderco para 3, a Glock, 2 flashlights, a prybar, paracord, a titanium safe, an AR-15, a lock picking set, a whole ass terrarium with active wildlife, and a fucking hanky featuring harambe in heaven with Paul Walker.

I'd also perfer to have a clip, and it would also be a plus to have pliers, but it's not essential. So far I've looked at the Gerber Armbar/Slim Drive, and the Leatherman Skeletool. * The Armbar seems like it could be perfect, if it had a clip and the bit driver locked, but I've also heard some less than kind things about quality. * The Skeletool is very tempting, but the non-standard bits might be a deal breaker.

I've been looking at the Gerber Armbar Drive. I like that it is small, I like that it has a blade, scissors, and a bit driver and not much else, those being essentially the things I use the most.

Give it some time. It took me a month to get warmed up to my Gerber Armbar ... a whole month of keeping it on my computer desk and fidgeting with it. I've been a SAK guy for 15 years, and I was disappointed with the Armbar at first. Give the Armbar a chance.

I've looked far and wide, high and low for a modern alternative to a Swiss Army Knife, so here's the long and short of it. The Gerber Armbar Drive Slim has a keyring attachment, and you can put a P-7 clip on it. Not only does this solve the problem, it does it better in a way, because the tool doesnt stay against your leg like a splint when you sit down.
