 So really clever feature Unfortunately, none of these lugs are replaceable, but they Look sturdy enough so should last a long time The graphics are quite subdued But I think they're also quite well visible in case you use these for commuting Or such the feet of the shoe Is actually quite different to the road version. These have much more a plush and sporty feeling The padding seems to be more dense and There's also more of it. So overall the shoe fits Well, it fits the same size and the same Well general dimensions are the same but it just seems to be more More of a luxurious plush feel than the road equivalent I think it's because they weren't really trying to hit such a low Weight target in here. They're still very light because of the laces but The feel of the shoe is much more luxurious and supremely comfortable

 I have to say this is probably the most comfortable shoe I own whether it's a cycling shoe or not, so definitely high praise and I have to say I really love the fit and How they perform on the trail The shoes have this little tab then that you can pull them under To keep them secure, but I prefer just to Tug them inside the shoe at my ankle and it's much neater that way much less chance of getting them caught in the chain rings or so the sole Has quite a low stack height for an off-road shoe. So that's that's nice The pedaling feel is quite direct. Of course, it's super stiff. So that makes walking a bit harder than say a pair of Cheaper shoes or for not race-oriented shoes, but Yeah, the rubbery tread makes kind of compensates for that so The cleat is also quite exposed

 I have a lower arch, but even adjusting the inserts, they don't work as well as the Specialized BG Blue insoles (which I am using). The arch is just in the wrong place. I do have rather "tall" toes and the toebox seems adequate (which I can't say for Specialized S-works).  Six months might not sound like a significant amount of time, but I have done quite a few races (XC endurance, "gravel grinders," and some cyclocross) with these puppies and have really put them through the wringer in that time

Laces are the way to go

 I've done it before It's a good day to do it. So about 70 70 degrees Fahrenheit today. Not a lot of humidity. So Great times

Giro Empire VR90 on a 60 Mile Ride

This shoe is perfect for my narrow feet (although with age, the feet supposedly start to splay out). And going from a Shimano M163 to this lightweight beauty, is like taking off boxing gloves and putting on a deerskin driving glove. It is probably the most significant update towards a psychological and physical edge since my change from Racing Ralphs to Thunder Burt tires for the rear, for flat out speed. This upgrade in shoe is that good
