It fits a small chicken or a roast easily, and has the option for covering, which adds to its versatility. Its non-stick construction makes it easy to clean and is dishwasher safe. In addition to its size, versatility, and ease of cleaning, the Granite Ware roasters are very affordable. These reasons all added up to land this pan as our go-to for simple meals. 
We appreciated having the lid option but found that it could have fit a little bit better &mdash; we often struggled with it sliding around and falling off when bumped. This is not a major issue, but certainly a red flag in terms of the pan's overall construction. The loose lid made the whole set-up feel like it lacked durability.

The top does not fit accurately and falls in on my meat when I am pushing or pulling the rack into the oven and it's not trapping the heat as well. I am unhappy about that, however the pan is exactly what I remember my mom cooking several meats in and this one looks like the one from my childhood.

Not very sturdy

I bought this to slow cook a pork shoulder. All the moisture escaped from the lid not sitting quite right on the pot. It would have been better to use foil but that was what I was trying to avoid by buying a pot with a lid.

I was looking for a nice size roaster pan to cook turkey wings. It did the job it was pretty well. I don't know if it was me or the pan but they were delicious

My mom had the same roaster for about 40 years and was completely devastated that she'd have to find another. She was completely thrilled that I'd found another by the same company and at an affordable price until we received two damaged items. Update to the review.

I don't remember buying a scratch and dent pan - Clearly manufacturer defect. My mom had the same roaster for about 40 years ...

 I explained to the that it would take at least 20% of the cost of the product to return it to them. We finally settled on 15%. With all the problems I am still happy with the product. It reminds me of my grandmother doing roast in one of these roasters

Cooks fast and keeps food moist

 I looked and looked for something that I know would last and this reminds me of the pots that my mother and Grandmother always used and had them for years! I have made large pots of soup in it and it distributes the heat and keeps everything warm evenly. I am very happy with it. I bought a rack that fits in the bottom so that I can easily bake a turkey in it. And I loved that it came with the top

It was a little bigger than I thought it would be but that is my fault for not measuring better but it still works great

Good turkey roaster but seems to dent easily

I got my roasting pan today I’m very disappointed after taking it out the bag it came in I noticed the handle have scratches and a dent in it then I noticed some noise under the lid so I took it out to check it some of the granite was missing from a small area I got this to be used on St. Patrick’s Day but it looks like I’m not going to use it I’m sending it back it took three days to get here now I got to go out and find one to replace this one
