Not ideal for day long hiking

 A couple of things that were important for me when looking at about an 18 liter pack because I had another one I had just gone I was on sale and when I saw this for about the same price I said the other ones. going back it has these pockets here which for me I like for a snack but also for my phone. Now it was interesting today as I was wearing the pack and take my phone in and out of the pockets. It's a little bit more difficult cuz this is a this is the pixel for XL it's a bigger phone I think six and a half inches and gay into the pocket

 It's padded which is great and it gives it some kind of air flow so that's nice. Now this is what really I think really did it for me. As far as I like with my other Gregory pack I have a mesh backing allows my back to breathe. They have this bio sync system which is their airflow type system so it keeps your back whoo when walking

 Got to use it for the first time today as I just got it in the mail just the other day and it went to a most amazing state park. Cloudland Canyon State Park here in northern Georgia a couple of hours away from Atlanta take a look at this view, it's incredible! So yeah well it was. It was a great hike did about six miles and I will put a link to the other day pack that I have I have a thirty liter a day pack which I could probably get away with but I wanted something a bit smaller so I don't feel like I got this huge bag on me and it is a bit bigger and it works great! This is the 18 liter bag and I absolutely love it! I'm gonna put a link by the way in the description where you could read reviews and people are just loving it and wait till you see this day pack. Amazing! I Love what Gregory does! Everything's so customizable as I will show you but I'll put a link so you can see other colors

It's a little bit more difficult cuz this is a this is the pixel for XL it's a bigger phone I think six and a half inches and gay into the pocket. it's a little tight so what I found was I had to push in, grab the bottom part of the pocket and fit it in there and I would just keep the pocket open so then I could pull it out or if I really want to and I love by the way there zipper pulleys which are great I can fully close it so you could see you could fit. you know a big phone in the pocket you just have to you know, get used to it just grabbing that pocket

Gregory Miwok 24 Day Pack

18L bag is quite small for casual hiking where I would recommend going to the 24L version unless you are under 5ft 5ins. I disliked the material in the top brain zip, its sticky and doesn't protect goods usually in those pockets. A good alternative would have been a microfiber cloth pocket material. #sweepstakes

Too small to hike with.

 Going to the back panel. You have a nice patch back panel right here with padded shoulder straps not too thick and very well contoured towards your back and you have an adjustable sternum strap that uses the tubular design instead of the strap design. you have waist belt right here and the cool thing about this is if you're gonna have a waist belt, you might as well have pockets on them as well. So Gregory was cool with that

 and if I open, this is like a half zip, half panel zip and then when you open it on the flap side, there is a zippered mesh pocket, the main pocket itself and then also here is the little hydration bladder pocket, but you can also use it for extra storage. As I said before, so yeah, that's nice. I Really like this bag I Like the fact that it is so ergonomic when you put it on, it feels I don't know how to explain it. It just feels great

Thank you to Young's backpack and post in this. what you're looking at here is the Gregory Miwok 18 Put the names aside I know Gregory names a lot of their stuff, these weird names but all of their gear is really high-quality and they put a lot of thought into the design. What's cool about the Mean Walk is it uses what's called the bio sync system and basically they've engineered the bag so that it's ergonomic towards how your body moves when you're wearing

 I Really like this bag I Like the fact that it is so ergonomic when you put it on, it feels I don't know how to explain it. It just feels great. It doesn't feel blocky like some bags if you look. It has a lot of round lines and it organically contours towards your body

Not as good as I was hoping for but good enough

 This pack is very comfortable, but once you get up to that higher end the 25 pound mark, it becomes less comfortable. Lastly, there is no rain cover included for this pack and that is an important aspect for any day pack. You need to have a way to protect your gear. And with all of that being said, everyone that wraps up my review of the Gregory Mewok 24 pack did I say that right? That could be another con for the pack is the name

 Luckily you can find deals and sales all day long. With that being said, the quality of the materials is excellent. You have the best of the best in terms of zippers, so you do get what you pay for. Next up we have to talk about comfort with lower weights

 Also, the old Sonoma had a double zippier on almost every pocket, this one has that for the main compartment only. I like the double zipper approach. It's faster and more efficient for getting to your stuff and closing.
