I hadn't planned to get the Flash, but after trying on a bunch, that one was the one that felt the best for me. If you're a beginner backpacker, you're probably hiking with some heavy and/or bulky gear, so it's even more important to get a comfortable pack that fits you properly (they'll measure you at the store).

Lightweight & Easy

I am obsessed with this pack. Got mine in 2018 after deciding to hike a 14'er while on vacation in Colorado and I have been in love ever since. I have a fairly petite frame (5'2", 135LB, 16 inch torso) and this fits me perfectly. I have a girlfriend who is 5'9" and it fits her perfectly as well due ...

Versatile Pack

I just finished hiking Half Dome in Yosemite with this pack and it was the perfect pack for that hike. 18 miles in about 11 hours, it fit all the water and food I needed. The pack easily fit 4.5 Liters of water. I had a 1.5 liter water bladder and two 1.5 Liter tall water bottles in the side pockets...

Fantastic Multi-Use Pack

I’ve used this pack as a carry all for day hiking. My SO has used this pack to carry her own sleeping bag and pad when we went backpacking together. I’ve fallen in the water while Paddle-boarding in this pack. I’ve put this pack through a lot and it’s taken everything I put it through. Between the h...

Great all-around bag!

I've used the Flash 22 as a mountain biking bag, a day-hike bag, and most recently, a crag bag. It's a great all-arounder and has held up really well. The water bottle pockets on this bag comfortably accommodate bigger water bottles, like 32 oz Hydroflasks and Nalgenes. If you're between the 22L and...

great day pack

I was looking for a pack for day hikes with my dogs. Its perfect! I am replacing an Osprey pack that was ok, only complaint it had only had one side pocket. The mesh side pocket are great and easily fit a liter or a liter and a half in each pocket. I like water bottles on each side to balance the lo...

Well made bag for biking and hiking

I’ve looked at lots of similar bags and eventually chose this one. After a few months of every day use I am very pleased with my decision. The side water bottle pockets easily fit a 32 oz nalgene/camelback or my thinner hydroflask without slipping out when I bend down. I appreciate the outer zip poc...

Run, hike, overnight, bookbag

This bag rocks! it's the perfect size to take in the car on day trips, bag a peak, strap it tight and run with, use as a drop bag, or ride your mountain bike. It's held an umbrella and an axe on the side. It's so comfy I use it carry my 13" laptop and a notebook for school. The opening/closure is su...

Very lightweight

What originally attracted me to this daypack is how lightweight it is. I think it is just enough room for a day hike. I love how it has two water bottle pockets, and two outside zippered pockets for items you want quick access to. I carried a 2.5L bladder and a 24oz water bottle, which I refilled ha...
