Hisense, you'll need a new screen AND a new projector since it's a fixed focus. **#3: Throw distance:** The Samsung can sit nearly 2X closer to the wall than the Hisense and it really does make a BIG difference when it comes to your options of media stands and how it looks in the room.

And I think I'm probably not alone in that I'm not needing my $5K projector to be an all-in-one device. I just want it to be my video out display. I don't want it to be my Netflix client, I don't even want it to be on the network unless there's an important update I need. I think you're going to be in trouble. The L9G is an ultra short throw projector, which means it needs to sit \~10 inches from the wall, not across the room. Which means you'll need to place it on that little table under the screen. Now the problem with that is two fold, 1, it looks like you have kids...which means they could get near that projector and either A, laser their eyes, B bump it out of alignment.
