The air purifier works well. I wanted it for all the smoke and we are planning on having a pet in the future so we also wanted one for that. We have a semi open living/dining space that this is perfect for since it works for a 500 sq ft space. It is hard to hide because of how large it is

 I couldn't work with that noise for long periods - white noise from the air movement is great; this was just grating.  Hey, Honeywell - here's a thought for you: spend just a little more on the motor & bearings you spec into this device and then actually put some effort into quality control. You were so close to a making a great product, but ruined it by penny pinching.

 It kinda reminded me of the sound London taxi cabs make, but distant and more muted. On higher fan settings, the air noise mostly drowned it out, but on the low setting is was rather annoying. I couldn't work with that noise for long periods - white noise from the air movement is great; this was just grating.  Overall I think this product works well. It's currently keeping my living room fresh and helping to minimize pet odor.

I was immediately impressed with how ready it was to set up this air purifier. It is basically ready to go out of the box - you just have to unwrap and insert the filter, and plug in. I also like the size; it's pretty small and looks sleek! It also runs really quietly, making it unobstrusive. I have 2 minor complaints

Small profile, quiet, easy setup

I have an older, round HEPA filter from Honeywell and the progression in technology is apparent. This is a very quiet and very functional HEPA air filtration unit. On its' 'AUTO' setting it is whisper quiet. It doesn't get real loud until either manual level 3 or 'Turbo' mode

 It is easy to open up the front for filter replacement - also easy to replace the filters and replace the front cover.

Honeywell's Insight HEPAS Air Purifier seems to be doing a good job eliminating dust and odors from my finished basement family room. I've been running it on a four hour timed mode and then again on a two hour run. The "turbo" mode is loud so I haven't been using that speed. The filters (two are included) are not washable and the replacement filters are expensive
