Suggestions for home treadmill?

OK but not for the price

Horizon 7.4AT or Sole F80 - Deciding between three two treadmills and would love to hear opinions.

 Sending a new pulse grip via FedEx 2. A technician will reach out to me to come onsite and install that right pulse grip (I'll probably ask about #2 from above at that time).  I was concerned they'd charge me for an installation fee, but they indicated it's all under warranty!!!  Overall, I was on the line with them for under 10 minutes, and am extremely satisfied with my purchase at this point.  The main reason I opted to purchase directly from Horizon is the financing option of paying ~$50/month for 3 years with 0% interest

My partner would like a treadmill after a close encounter with a bear on the walking trail behind our house. I have done some basic research and found that the \[url=https://www.solefitness.ca/F80-treadmill.html\]Sole 480\[/url\] ($2200 CAD) and the \[url=https://www.horizonfitness.ca/horizon-7-0-at-treadmill\]Horizon 7.0 AT\[/url\] ($1600 CAD) both look like decent models. Reddit seems to indicate that while Nordictrack has good initial reviews, their stuff breaks within a year or so and customer support is non existent.

This treadmill would be used for walking and running. Any opinions on which way we should go?

Sole 480 v Horizon 7.0 AT

DESIGN FLAW: water intrusion into console

Hi everyone, I am considering getting a treadmill for our cottage. I normally use a spin bike at home and also have a Precor treadmill that's been great. Our cottage won't have very strong (if any wifi) so I need something that doesn't HAVE to connect online. I do love to run and like interval training so something that would be able to switch quickly between faster/slower speeds. Eventually if we can get wifi, I'll use my Peloton account to do their running classes but for now, I"ll just use the treadmill old school style. I was considering the Sole F80 or F85 or the Horizon 7.8. I'd love something that isn't plagued with issues and the Precor we have has been solid (but we got it as a floor model so deeply discounted...I think brand new, 10 years ago when we bought it, it was $8000)  


Any and all suggestions welcome. I'm set on the Sole or Horizon and would love to spend no more than $3000
