While the LG 27GL650F-B is also great for gaming, this one is slightly better mainly because it has an incredible response time across its entire refresh rate range, resulting in smooth motion, and you won't see much blur trail behind fast-moving objects. It also has low input lag for a responsive gaming experience, and its native FreeSync VRR support and G-SYNC compatibility help reduce screen tearing when the frame rate of your game drops.

While its 24-inch screen doesn't deliver the most immersive gaming experience, it results in a slightly higher pixel density than the 27-inch LG, which results in a slightly sharper image. Despite its low cost, it also has a few extra gaming features like a frame rate counter and a virtual crosshair that your system won't detect, giving you a competitive advantage for FPS games. While it has limited ergonomics, as you can't swivel it, you can still adjust the height and tilt it.

If you want the best 24-inch monitor that you can get for cheap, the HP X24ih is also a great choice for gaming that costs less than the ViewSonic XG2431.  I got it the same day that I got my PlayStation 5. I got the monitor from Best Buy and I got my PlayStation 5 from GameStop and I've been using them together ever since, so almost roughly, almost come up on three months. I can give a little review about the monitor as well as the main point of the video is me showing you how you can enable the 120 refresh rate on this HP X24i gaming monitor. Is this monitor worth it? 144Hz 1Ms

Nothing special. It's a 1080p 24" IPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.

 The monitor also supports variable refresh rate, VRR, via AMD's FreeSync or NVIDIA's G-Sync compatible technologies, depending on your graph cheese card. VRR allows the monitor to change its refresh rate dynamically and according to GPU's frame rate. So, if you're getting 100 FPS in a game, the monitor's refresh rate will change to 100 Hz. This way, you always get a whole frame displayed, which prevents screen tearing and stuttering without adding any noticeable input lag

 Moving on, the full HD resolution results in a pixel density of 92 ppi, pixels per inch, on the 23.8-inch viewable of the screen of the HP X24i. This translates to a decent amount of screen real estate and fairly sharp details in text. The picture is noticeably clearer than that of a 27-inch monitor with the same resolution and since 1080p is not very demanding on your CPU, GPU, it will allow you to maintain a high frame rate in games with a decent graphics card

 Level 3 and 4 are too aggressive and add a lot of pixel overshoot, inverse ghosting, so you shouldn't pay any attention to them. Level 2 is fast enough to prevent trailing behind fast-moving objects without adding any overshoot, which makes it the best overdrive setting at 144 Hz. The monitor also supports variable refresh rate, VRR, via AMD's FreeSync or NVIDIA's G-Sync compatible technologies, depending on your graph cheese card.  Only thing this one has over my other "monitors" is another 24 hz worth of refresh rate. ..

 And if you got a computer that will run modern games in 1080p at 144hz, you've likely got enough invested there that another $250 or so for a massively improved experience should be doable at some point soon. Heck, this guy actually costs more than my 4k 120hz 32 inch smart tv I have mounted to my bedroom ceiling. Only thing this one has over my other "monitors" is another 24 hz worth of refresh rate. 

Good but pricey

 And I mean, if you're a casual gamer, why not just buy a cheaper 32 inch monitor? I think I got this LG here for $279, it's Costco, it's 1080p and that's what this is. This is not 1440, it's 1080. So you're looking at a 1080 panel for whatever they're trying to get on Amazon when you see this versus a 32 inch for about the same price. And this is G-Sync compatible and FreeSync

 That being said, I could probably get used to the 24 inch. It's plenty big. You know, 24 inches is about the standard. I wouldn't want to go any smaller on a computer than 24 inches, but they're still pretty good

 I've been on this too long already, so here you go. That's how big they look. The size is just incredibly different, but if you're going to have a monitor this size, you need a 1440 and a 1080 on a 24-inch is just about right. It's really nice and it will be compacted enough to really get some nice, really nice image

5 to a 32 inch LG 165 hertz gaming monitor right here at 1080p. I just bought this about three weeks ago, two weeks ago. You can see the difference. I mean, the 24 inch is just dwarfed by how big this thing is
