6 pounds meaning it is actually very light for an all-in-one speaker. Alright so the first thing I'm gonna say is this if you are a fan of JBL speakers meaning if you own previous JBL speakers such as JBL Eon 1, JBL Eon 1 Pro or any other JBL speakers you will most likely like the audio quality that came out of this speaker right here but if you are other fans like the Bose speaker that may be a different story but anyway let me go ahead and go into further details of the physical appearance first and then we'll talk more about the audio quality as we go further onto the video so on the front of the speaker of course obviously we have the JBL professional logo right there and at the bottom we have a little LED light indicator to let you know the speaker is actually on and connected to bluetooth and on top of the speaker you actually have some pretty nice things first of all is the handle that way you can carry it around with one hand wherever you want to go and you actually have this slot right here and this slot is for you to put your iPad or your phone on there so let me go ahead and grab my phone that way I can show you what I'm talking about so you can put your phone on there at the same time if you are a guitarist or any kind of instrument player you can listen or I mean you can look at your chords and then play along like that now on over here to this side you have all of your control they have a built-in mixture right here so the first on top right here is the power button so to turn this speaker on all you have to do is hold the power button right here down for about three seconds one two three and go ahead and let go give it another second or so to boot up and then you'll see all the lights come on green that means it is on now way on top is the battery indicator so as you can see my battery is almost full so I can have up to about 12 hours of listening time so first over here this is the main master volume control now right below that we have the mixed mode so channel mode so you actually have four different channels right first you have the gain treble bass and reverb control now in order to control channel one channel two channel three channel four you will have to specify and let the speaker know which channel do you want to adjust and you do that by selecting this channel button right here so channel select if you press this once it goes to a different channel so if you press it again you go to channel one now to channel two channel three channel four or all four channel at once so let's say if I want to you know only control the uh microphone line which is channel one then I select one this light turns on now I can actually control the gain treble bass and reverb for this channel one specifically after I finish change to channel two and redo the entire process just like that so over here you have several more buttons the mic line you also have the phantom control along with the ducking for you know ducking if you want to use the microphone and if you want to talk along with the music once you start to talk you know the the speaker will automatically reduce the volume of the music that way people can hear your voice way over the music all right so behind the speaker this is where I really like about the jbl en1 compact right here so pretty cool stuff back here compared to other portable pa system so right here you have two xlr combo with the trs or quarter inch input and you have a quarter inch input right here for your guitar hi-z and right here you have a 3.5 millimeter auxiliary input and that allows you to of course connect all kind of other audio in there backtrack from your iphone ipad computer whichever it may be and this is a quarter inch output that way uh you can run another compact speaker or any other speaker through this speaker right here and lastly another 3.5 millimeter output right here that this will allow you to actually connect a headphone on here to allow you to listen to yourself during practice or for whatever reasons and another thing I really like about that they have back here is they have two 3

 Obviously with the guitar plugged in at the same time so you can see that they work together. Let's see if that fixes all the busking. Cool, guys. So what we're going to do now is I'm going to Bluetooth my phone up to the Eon One Compact so you can get an idea of Bluetooth and some different songs through it, give you kind of an idea of what it sounds like with some different tracks

 Then you've got your third channel, which is a line in, which is a quarter inch jack. Then below that you've got an auxiliary in, so if you're running a 3.5 auxiliary cable in there from your phone or an MP3 or an iPad or anything like that, you've got that there. This is also Bluetooth, which you've got the button to switch on the Bluetooth, so you can Bluetooth anything again from your phone or your iPad or anything like that to play music through or back in tracks
