 All right. So as far as the Buds go, you guys know as well as I do, we always do a brand and gravity test with earbuds. So let's go ahead and get that out of the way. Here we go

 All right, enough of this. Let's get on with the review and today guys, look what I have in my hands. That's right. Not one set of earbuds, but two sets of earbuds and it's by JLAB

 But however, it does fit inside the case very nicely and very flush and let's take a look at the JLAB case and we're going to pop it open and there are the Buds style and for all 10s of purposes we're going to call these the Air and we'll call the Epic Airs the Epic Airs. Okay. All right. So as far as the Buds go, you guys know as well as I do, we always do a brand and gravity test with earbuds

 I guess it gets a half and half today. I'm going with the lesser price. These sound amazing. These are an amazing earbud set also, and I love wireless charging, but I'm telling you the sound compared to these, it was unbelievable

i set up an equalizer to get rid of the harsh treble and increase the bass, and also swapped out the tips for some memory foam tips. with a proper ear seal and an EQ, overall i am very happy w my purchase. definitely would recommend to anyone looking for <25$ iems.

just got a pair of KZ ZSN PRO as my first pair of iems. i’ve had airpods and jlab jbud anc’s prior to this and these definitely are a step up. upon initially listening to them, it’s clear that the treble is quite harsh. the ear tips they come with aren’t bad and they give you a few sets depending on what size you need. i set up an equalizer to get rid of the harsh treble and increase the bass, and also swapped out the tips for some memory foam tips. with a proper ear seal and an EQ, overall i am very happy w my purchase. definitely would recommend to anyone looking for <25$ iems.

I got the KZ ZSN Pro X variant a while back. My only complaint is that they're a bit bulky and the nozzle is a bit wide, only a few tips even fit in my ears.

 If you don&rsquo;t need the ANC and just want affordable wire-free earphones with good sound quality, meanwhile, we&rsquo;re fans of the $80 Anker Soundcore Liberty Air.

There are multiple EQ modes. Bass Boost is pure bass overload, while Balanced sounds better than either Bass Boost or Signature to us, but the sound signature here depends greatly on a secure in-ear seal. Moving the earpieces around even slightly can drastically alter the audio. There&rsquo;s also a separate Music/Movie mode option

 You can spend less and get similar audio quality, but you have to spend a lot more to get it paired with good active noise cancellation (ANC).

True wireless earphones tend to cost more than standard wireless earphones, similar to the way noise-cancelling models are typically pricier than their non-noise-cancelling counterparts. Thus, $99 is an impressively low price for a pair of noise-cancelling true wireless earphones like the JLab Epic Air ANC. The good news is that they offer quality audio performance for the price, with full-sounding bass and crisp, clear highs, and they even have three EQ modes (and adjustable EQ in the app, as well). The bad news is that the noise cancellation is pretty mediocre, and often flat-out bad

 It is not a full representation of the overall sounds as there is no replacements for actually having them on. It will then be followed by a microphone sample. Now for a microphone sample in a noisy setting. This is a test of the JLab Epic Air ANC microphone

 Here are my thoughts on the Epic Air ANC. The earbuds seated well in my ears and it created a good seal. One thing to note is it's important to take time to find the correct eartips or else the overall sounds and features will not be heard correctly. Touch controls are a plus since they don't add pressure when navigating

 These worked fine for me on my PC but I can't say the same will apply to you. Individual user experience will inevitably vary.  

The only other one on your list that gets close to that battery life is the Sony WF-XB700 pushing over 10 hours. The rest fall short between 5-7 hours under real world conditions.

I've never owned a pair of wireless earbuds and have been doing some research but only seem to be getting more confused.  I'd appreciate any helpful advice from the more knowledgeable folks here.

For reference my favorite pair of wired earbuds were some Sony Xtra Bass for both sound and comfort (I do prefer a bit more heavy bass, but not at the expense of mucking up the overall sound quality).   I would use these exclusively at home.   

The vast majority of time they would be paired with a laptop, watching YouTube videos, and PC gaming (good strong bass important for gaming).    I have read some don't work well with Windows so this is a huge concern for me to not have lag.   

I may occasionally want to pair them with an Android phone or tablet to listen to audiobooks, or even to a streaming device like a Roku or Fire Stick.   I will not use them for phone calls at all so call quality is not important.   

Other things that are important include having good battery life on one charge (7+ hours would be ideal), volume control on the buds, good build quality, very comfortable for longer sessions, in ear detection would be nice but not required, and decent range with strong connectivity.

Here are some I think are good but for one reason or another may not be the right choice:

* Tonsmart Apollo Bold
* Mpow M30 or X3
* Sony WF-XB700
* Tozo T6
* Tranya T10
* Plenty of others including I see the Fiil brand mentioned on here quite often.

I'm plenty OK with not paying $100 if there's a good choice for considerably less.

On the Go Air earbuds, basses were round, full, and resonant, and mids and trebles rang through clear as day without sounding tinny. I listen to everything from classical music to swing and indie pop to metal, and the Go Airs took everything in stride. The Balanced EQ setting was exactly that and the Bass Boost setting sacrificed smoothness in the treble to deliver low tones measuring on the Richter scale, but the JLab Signature preset provided the best of both. I'd had my eye on upgrading to the slick looking Air Executive earbuds, but as the Epic Air ANC was announced at the same time, I immediately preordered them

I was initially impressed when they first arrived. The fit and finish on the Epic Air ANC would indicate a much higher price point with the sleek design and metallic gunmetal gray trim. The earbuds fit comfortably, and with numerous sizes of ear tips, the fit can be customized for just about anyone. I opted for the extra length medium size myself

Everything is spectacular.... except the sound.

 It's got nice impact to it. Overall, a very good dynamic V-shape type of sound. If you're an audiophile, probably not gonna be the earbuds for you, but they do have a flat EQ, which sort of removes those bass boost and the treble boost and kind of flattens out the sound. It loses some of its gusto, obviously, but if you're into that type of sound, then that might work for you

 And then they also have their bass boost feature, which I'm just not a fan of. It just kind of bumps up the bass a bit too much and it really muddies the mid-range. So I'm not really a fan of that. But overall, that JLAB Signature Sound is really the one that you wanna roll with

 So my personal favorite of their three EQ settings because they do have the three EQ settings as per usual is the JLAB Signature Sound. And that's where you're getting the bass boost and you're getting the treble boost. So it sounds very good, nice dynamic sound. The bass kicks in nice and strong, a sort of a neutral mids and you get that slight treble bump

 You've got it all. You've got sound quality, you've got crazy battery life, active noise canceling, ambient sound, wireless charging, dual connect. I mean, movie mode, low latency mode, come on, man. For 99 bucks? Dude, these, these are a major win for all of us

Assuming we make it out of this pandemic alive, I think the sound quality may prove to be a worthwhile sacrifice when in a crowded area or on a long plane or bus trip. Although I'm initially disappointed with the sound quality Epic Air ANC Earbuds given their price point and the pedigree of their manufacturer, I'm still holding out hope that the customization features and system updates will allow us to iron out the sound issues with these otherwise great earbuds

 Hi everyone and welcome to my channel! After testing the JLAB Audio Epic Air Sport ANC earbuds just a couple of days ago, today I'm going to have a look at its less athletic sibling, the JLAB Audio Epic Air ANC. This one is not made for the active person, but it was rather designed with a more general use in mind. Both buds offer basically the same feature set, with some differences of course, so let's see what these are! The biggest difference is obvious at first sight and that's the design of the buds. The Epic Air ANC lost the ear hooks, but it gained a short stem instead

 You lose some of the stability compared to the ear hook design on the sport buds, but you still have a great comfort, a tight fit and the buds sit in your ears stable enough. And you get an IP55 rating as well, which is better than some of the exercise specific sport earbuds can offer, so you don't have to worry about getting caught in a shower and you can gently rinse the buds time to time to keep them clean. Even if these buds were not made for runners, you can safely do some light exercise such as yoga, stretching or even some weightlifting. The earbuds are made entirely from black matte plastic which is not the most fancy look, but they are built to high standards and feel like they will last a long time

 The mids are a bit shy and the walkers like to stay in the background a little too much which is hardly ever the case with real live singers to be honest. The highs are ok, there are details too but nothing is overcooked or harsh. The balance between frequency ranges is maintained regardless of listening levels but the earbuds cannot go as loud as the epic AirSport ANC buds. You can play around with the EQ settings a lot and make the buds sound as you like but if there is one thing the EQ cannot help you with is the lack of space and air in the sound

 It's not significant but there is some extra dynamics in the music, bass becomes tighter and highs become more crisp and detailed. But it feels like the sound stage is even more compressed than it was before so it's not an obvious win, at least not in my eyes. And I also found the foam tips less comfortable than the silicon tips as there was more pressure inside my ear canals. But this is just me so you better figure out yourself which tips work the best for you in terms of fit, isolation and sound quality
