I would say it's more of a groomer caver and jump charger than a pow weapon. The board loves going fast and rips a turn while also being poppy and stable for jumps. It certainly capable in pow but wasn't mindblowingly floaty. More of a groomer ripper which is comfortable in pow.

The K2 Cool bean. This board is a powder boomber. It is a STIFF board for it's size but with it's width its lays a mean edge in pow or on groomers. I've found it to be a little torsionaly stiff for tress but a great overall board.

I didn’t like it at speed, but is a fun party board that rides everything well. I had a K2 Cool Bean (precursor to Special Effects) and it’s a pretty fun party board as well. Though it’s to be ridden considerably shorter than normal.

It’s effortless in powder, carves groomers like nobody’s business and is incredible in trees and (to my surprise) moguls. My regular riding buddy has a Jones symmetrical (don’t remember the model), a K2 Cool Bean, and last season picked up a second hand Optimistic for cheap.
