 We're like solomon does a good job, too But k2 widens out up here where solomons are kind of tight on me So that's kind of cool and I love this adjustable plastic thing because I did have to adjust it here and there To finally get it to fit me perfectly And once I did that it was dialed. It took a few runs, but um, and these are so comfortable Day one just right out of the box. I put them on went up on the hill and By day three, they felt like they were my boots like they were made for me. It's just like You know, that's pretty cool

 Yeah, you lose Upper and lower adjustability and you have a big footprint which can lead to toe and heel drag So be careful if you're one of those guys that's like 10 and a half And you're trying to fit into You know like a 25.5 waist or a board bordering on mid-wide Uh, you might be better off with a reduced footprint boot. Um You know like from vans, um to a lesser extent Um, you know, maybe even 32. They're a little smaller Um, but really like like adidas and burton

5 adidas tactical advs I found that there's like this much difference and you can see in the picture There's a massive difference and it's even larger in a nine, but um, you know, that's not a fair comparison Uh, and I just would say like that's the one thing But where you lose a little bit of footprint Um, you know advantage Uh, you gain warmth and these are warmer than my adidas tactical advs. I can just feel it Um Even though I haven't been riding in really cold days and watch this. This is just like so cool I've never seen such an easy on or off That's it and i'm out Well, i'm not going to get all the way out, but It's like so easy on and off And if that's important to you, this is one of the best in the business for that. So Here's the thing about the maces

 But um, you know, I'd probably be weary anything E and above, you know, if you're D, this is perfect Now what I've really noticed with the Macy's and most k2 boots like the Enders I tried is the heel side the heel part of the boot is narrower and then it widens out So for me, I have a little bit of a normal heel I guess But I found that you know, some of my friends who have narrower heels and narrower Like Achilles arches and stuff like like the Achilles tendon on the back K2 boots really work well for those type of people It really wraps and so in terms of fit this works for me I could ride these all year and they were comfortable day one What I did with both boots is I put in footprint insole technology Insoles I put in my I think these have king foam Five mils and what I did is I just didn't trim them and I put them in so they curved up So they kind of worked. Okay, but man those eights felt perfect. They just Touched when I was standing like this and then when I leaned forward a little bit They just barely didn't touch and that's perfect and they felt like a nice You know match in terms of fit like With like boots like adidas and like 32 that run maybe a half size big. So you have to size down You know Because I'm definitely a true nine on the Braddock scale and athletic fit and And so the eight and a half's with k2 fit me perfectly just like the eight and a half's from adidas And that I own and love And I gotta say if you're a fan of A wrapped heel and a supportive locked in boot around there and you have a narrower heel I think k2 does a great job

Hi all, I’ve been riding for 15+ years and for ~ the past 10 I’ve had the same setup. A Rossignol board, Liquid bindings, Vans boa boots that don’t fit so I often rent if I’m going to a decent mountain on the east coast or Colorado. 

Id like a new setup this year but am clueless what’s new in terms of board build, decent bindings, boot tech. 

I’ve been seeing boards that are straight sliced off on the tips which idk anything about but I’m sure there’s an explanation. I know there are step in bindings (or at least there were when I was in HS) but I don’t want those, and I’ve had some decent rental Vans boots with double boa system. Certain years to look for or pass on?

Any recommendations? Budget is probably $700+/- (is this even reasonable? Too much? Idk). 

Planning my first ride of the year in Colorado this December.

Out of touch but ride every season. What’s the latest tech for an upgrade?

Bought these after being measured at a snowboard shop. Inventory was limited in stores this year but I found these! They were tight at first and the double boa does exactly what it says. I could feel it pulling my foot to the back of the boot to reduce heel lift.  Overall great looking boot and effective!

My last ones were the K2 Maysis Wide at 8. I noticed my heel was sliding in my lining and that my boot was crushing the top of my foot (tightening the harness to overcompensate for a loose boot). I want to go boarding again this season, but I **really** need boots that fit.

Excellent design

- Boots: K2 Maysis Boa. From what i’ve seen in review videos and from talking to the guy at the shop, the 2020 Capita Supernova fits what I am looking for very well. Bindings wise, I really don’t know 100% what I should be looking for, but those two were recommendations from him as well. All thoughts and recommendations on the post are greatly appreciated!

I wear size 10.5 shoes and got size 10 boots and they fit perfectly. So if you gotta order online and you’re gonna get K2 boots then that’s the method I’d go with.
