Good two hand open pocket knife. But that's the issue "for me"

It's NOT the black coated blade. I bought this Ka-Bar THINKING it was the knife in the FIRST picture. It is not. Since it is a great little knife for the price (now I have 2 satin bladed Ka-Bar Doizer's; oh well) I am NOT complaining about the knife (GREAT first knife for a young adult FWIW) but the vendor needs to take the black blade picture OFF!!!!

These are nice knives. After reviewing for cost, size, blade sharpness retention, and ease of EDC, I chose this knife. The reviews for this knife were outstanding. And, I ordered 3 of them rather than 1 Ken Onion knife

 I'm perfectly happy at this point. I think the blade will become easier to open with some time and repeated open/close cycles.

I Wanted To Love This Knife... (And Now I Do)

 The 3" drop point blade came razor sharp right out of the box, and my experience with these knives is that they'll hold an edge pretty well. The blade is hollow-ground AUS-8. The pocket clip has the perfect amount of tension and it doesn't shred your pants when using. Mine had no blade play, but if yours does (or if you want to swap the blade with another Dozier model) you can adjust it since the pivot bolt screw is slotted for a Torx (T-8) bit

Pretty Good EDC

 The blade is absolutely razor sharp out of the box and the blade shape is nice. Very thin and light and almost perfectly balanced. The jimping is not overdone - comfortable, and better blade steel than usually found at this price. This would be a great knife for scouts

 So why 4 stars? The handle could be a bit more comfortable and it could have a bit more protection for the index finger. Also, it's a little stiff on the opening, but better that than loose, and it's got very good lockup for an inexpensive lockback knife.

Simplicity and Function

 The blade demands a really strong wrist-flick to get full lock-out. I want to buy one for every member of my family, but I doubt they'd appreciate it the way I do.

Great EDC, but a bit too big for the office.

 Came nice a sharp, and has a thin profile, so it's very easy to carry. AUS 8 steel is pretty tough, and takes a good edge - this blade locks up solid too. A great knife for all purpose use, and at three inches the blade is just large enough to skin game. A good choice - 4
