His mixer is pretty big and somewhat heavy but not uncomfortable my biggest issue is that the lowest speed is too high, it’s like the high on my old mixer.

 What had been an annoyance became dangerous today. Since the day I received this, one beater bar has intermittently fallen out while mixing items. Today it fell out right after i plugged the mixer in. As I went to push the bar back in my hand bumped the power slide and the mixer pulled my hand in between the bars and beat the heck out of it! Now I'm sitting here with a swollen and bloody hand and no mixer because i finally took the plunge and did what i should've done on day one and threw it out

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. ...

The fact the cord is retractable, the mixer can sit beside the bowl being used, the ease of operating and the storage for the accessories is available makes it an ideal item for me. I have had another brand for over 50 years; my daughter-in-law still has hers. It was time for me to make a change because of the cord and the ease of operation. I have to get used to the weight of the hand mixer as I was accustomed to a much smaller type but I am very happy with the Kenmore and eager to try the attachments for the smoothies and bread
